If you want to be close to Temple Square and Downtown Salt Lake City , this is the place to stay. It is across the street from Trax train station, and a free shuttle to Temple Square runs every hour. Sites are shady and paved with some space in between. The restrooms are clean and there is a pool and... More

If it is important to you to be near the city this is your place. Not in the best section of town but there is a semblance of safety. Locks on facilities and gates to a dog walk area. Sites level but too close for my liking. The price you pay for city camping. Not very dog friendly and will... More

First, be careful about using Google for directions into this KOA especially if you are a big rig. Not good. This is a large, mature ,well managed KOA. Nice trees, grass, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and facilities are well maintained. Parks near by within walking distance with bike trails. The location is good, access is ok once you... We needed a camping stop over on our way to Vegas and Salt Lake Koa won. We rolled in around 9pm and we're greeted with blaring music from the fairgrounds nextdoor. Luckily it was Sublime with Rome (which we enjoyed) and they shut it down by 10pm. Camping in a city wasn't what we expected but it worked. The kids... More

I really wanted to give this location a better rating because there was a lot of good. The staff was very friendly and although the lots were close together they were nice. There were plenty of trees and you would hardly know that you were downtown unless you left the property. The issues that kept this location from getting a... More

We spent one night at this KOA and found it to be enjoyable. The park has many family oriented features and has well established sites (paved and concrete pads with mature shade trees). One word of caution; I checked-in late at night (after the office was closed) and had not been advised of the high water pressure in the park.... More

This was a great spot with helpful staff. They helped us figure out our tv. It is in the city, though. Shuttle to temple square and public transportation easily available. We were close to street, so it was rather noisy, but a spot in the back would be quieter. Pool and pretty goodxwifi connection. We would certainly stay there again

Directions were good but the freeways to get there were complicated. We thought we took a wrong turn but ended up where we needed to be. Upon check in, I was told to keep my bicycle locked up, so that was the first clue that we may not be in the best place. Campground is on the Jordan River, and... More

A very nice park, well laid out, trees at most sites. Most pull-thru sites have a grass area with two picnic tables, shared by two sites. Park is close to downtown, and easy to get to off I-80. This is one of our favorites.

We have camped here many times over the years. It is a mature RV park with nice shade, and a good pool. Helpful staff and public transportation right in front. But... Cleanliness of the bathrooms was not good. Homeless people have figured out the door codes and smoke in the bath houses and do not clean after themselves.
