Back at home, this morning hubby made breakfast with eggs over easy, sausage, and English muffin, and apologized for the breakfast not being a "Caroline" breakfast. Innkeeper Caroline is the perfect host at this charming B&B. If you let her know in advance of your arrival, she will accommodates your dietary restrictions. We requested breakfast dishes with limited sugar, saying that we preferred eggs for breakfast. As a welcome gesture, she made us shortbread cookies using a sugar substitute called monk fruit sweetener. We ate the delicious cookies on one of our hikes. Our first 3-course breakfast consisted of plain yogurt with wonderful berry varieties and granola, homemade flaky and buttery almond croissants, and fluffy scrambled eggs with spinach and mushrooms sprinkled with feta cheese. Yum! Portions were generous such that we requested smaller portions for the next day's breakfast. For our second and last breakfast , we enjoyed a cranberry cobbler tart, fresh fruit (berries and pineapple) with blueberry yogurt, and outstanding scrambled eggs topped with salsa and guacamole. The meals were so filling we didn't need to eat until dinner. We chose the Indian Summer Suite because it was a self-contained unit and apart from the main house. it was equipped with a kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker), sink, dishes and cutlery, and we were able to make our nightly cup of tea and keep our water and drinks cold. The unit also had a Roku TV which was nice. One of the best features was the heater in the bathroom.. Bathroom amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body gel, but no lotion. There were plenty of extra blankets. The room also came with two robes and iron. Wi-fi connection was very good. Caroline is a charming and welcoming host as well as an engaging and intelligent conversationalist. She made excellent recommendations about local restaurants. It was difficult to leave Five Seasuns. We hope everyone who is lucky enough to get a room here experiences the same gracious hospitality and delicious breakfasts that we were afforded. Thank you very much, Caroline!

Thanks so much for your very detailed review, which I know will help future guests when deciding which room to select for their stay. That's hilarious that your husband apologized for not making a "Caroline" breakfast, but he is a keeper for making breakfast for you, especially the eggs exactly how you like them! I am happy that you enjoyed the special cookies. It was a pleasure to host you both and to chat with you at the breakfast table. Thanks again!

We stayed two nights at Five Seasuns, as part of a 4 day trip in Olympic National Park. The location is great - easy to visit Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge. There is a Safeway a few blocks away to pick up food. We were in the Indian Summer Suite, which is a separate unit from the main home. Beds were super comfortable and we slept well. The balcony had views of Hurricane Ridge - if you can see the mountains it is a perfect time to visit. The hostess Caroline provided great information on places to visit and restaurant recommendations. She also provided a delicious breakfast each morning, and even delivered our breakfast the night before we planned to head out early to beat the crowds. Caroline also baked tasty cookies each day - perfect snack after a day of hiking.

We needed a one night stay in Port Angeles and decided to book a BnB. Caroline was responsive from the very beginning and full of great information! The house is in a quiet area of PA. Our primary objective was to visit Hurricane Ridge and she directed us to the live webcam and encouraged us to go as it was clear. Was present for a beautiful sunset with the peaks turning pink as we drove down the mountain. Then in the morning she had separate seatings (social distancing) for an incredible breakfast! Eggs with spinach and feta, fruit parfait, and her own almond croissants! We booked the Winter suite which gave us a king, very comfortable plush mattress as well as extra space in the room. As this was in the midst of a month long road trip, we really appreciated the bigger bed as well as the extra space. Did I mention her lovely garden?? Highly recommend Five Seasuns while in Port Angeles!
