This is a great facility - very spacious rooms, super quiet if you reserve for the back which faces the golf course, comfy bed, fantastic breakfast, friendly staff. If you are on foot, you can request shuttle service (though not guarantred there will be someone available)
Just a fact. Take it as you will. Too bad sports wasn’t on: Everyone can watch that. What an odd sight, some teenagers glued to the screen, because (I suppose) they will watch anything on a screen. We could write a sociological behavior study on this. Busy and tidy hotel, I am glad that it doing well. Nothing comparable in quality in Port Angeles. Slim pickings in the area for dinner. Of course most people are just passing through.
We opted to stay here instead of the Lake Crescent. The hotel was immaculate, offered large rooms and was updated. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very attentive. The park itself was a disappointment compared to other national parks we visited but our stay here made it more enjoyable.
We stayed here for a night while we were in town for a mountain bike race. This was our first time traveling with bikes where we had to leave our bikes in a hotel's bike storage room (vs. bringing them in the room with us), and I was initially very nervous about it, but it worked really well. The hotel has a secure room for bike storage and gives you a claim check. Staff is really friendly, breakfast is good, pool & hot tub are small but clean, rooms are clean and comfy. The only downside is that it's not walkable to restaurants in downtown PA, but still, it's by far the best hotel option in town.
First time in Port Angeles and we were lucky to find this hotel. the rooms are large and comfortable and the design throughout the hotel is modern and atractive. The staff is always friendly and the breakfast service was delightful, This will be our go to place in the future when we come back to Port Angeles.
The hotel exceeds the expectations. Great place to stay within budget. Very friendly staff, clean, warm breakfast. One side faces the main road but it's is at distance enough to not hear the noise. The other side faces beautiful golf coarce. Very welcoming lobby and nice pool. Definitely on the list to come back.
We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff members were amazing. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and professional and made us feel so welcome. The decor in the hotel was stunning! Our room was comfortable and well furnished. We had an amazing view out our patio door. All of the landscape was beautiful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty with a wide variety of choices. We stayed off season, but the price of $132 was a great value for these accomodations.
We stayed here during our visit to Olympic National Park. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and restaurant on site. There is a golf course on site and pool. Location is great no matters where you’re driving too and they have ample parking on site.
My non-smoking room had a strong smoke odor. It was definitely not worth the price paid. After the trip, I saw a $199 cancellation fee on my credit card statement in addition to the charge for the three nights that I stayed. I had modified my reservation over the phone, just shifting it by one day and well in advance of the required 24 hours notice. When I called the hotel about the charge, they admitted it was their mistake and said it was a system error but argued against my credit card dispute. Unbelievable.
Located overlooking Port Angeles. Puget Sound in the distance, golf course on the backside. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub. 25 year old facility that was beautifully redone three years ago. Our room could not have been any nicer. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. Don’t be bothered by the sign for the Hotel 8 on the road leaving to the hotel.
