I booked in one of the two private rooms at the Toadlily House International Hostel via AirBnB. While the listing did reference that the "Ravens Rest" was in a building adjacent to the main hostel building and that the shared bathroom was located there, the implication was that I would have full access to the hostel and bathrooms 24/7. Unfortunately,... More

If you're standards are low, you may find this place suitable. Personally, I found the safety, privacy, cleanliness and professionalism of this "hostel" to be completely unacceptable. I would say this place could be more accurately categorized as a crash-pad. Ashtrays and smokers outside all the doors, you have to walk through other guests rooms to get to your own,... More

We arrived to Port Angeles from the road at night and were welcomed up. more like a bed and breakfast than some lesser hostels, uncrowded and friendly, we enjoyed our stay at toadlily. Cody is the delightfull owner, great to work with.. felt like home. Saul and Carisa

A comfortable and relaxed place to explore Port Angeles from. The owner, who lives next door, was very friendly and relaxed, and I felt comfortable in the space, which felt like a cozier, much homier version of the more industrial-yet-still-funky hostel type you might find in a larger city. A couple of wishes for the future: first, replacing the worn-down,... More

I was never quite sure if our booking was confirmed (no deposit) but was pleased to arrive and find it was. I had booked as a couple and we were a bit surprised to find a double bed with someone else in a single bed. Ok, my misunderstanding. However the room was a thoroughfare for another 2 rooms. Only one... More

I recently stayed in Toad Liky hostel with some friends for one night. We were very disappointed at how dirty and unorganized it is. Two of us were in a room with bunk beds. The room had a washer and dryer in it and piles of (I presume) clean laundry. The carpet was filthy and everything had layers of dust.... More

We ended up having to go next door to find the guy to check in with and walking through the main bunkrooms of the hostel (which smelled like urine or something) to get to our private room out the back. The private room is detached from the house and is a perfectly pleasant place to stay. However, the bathroom is... More

My stay at the toad Lilly was a great experience; I was in town for work and at the end of the day I was cold, exhausted and ready for a relaxing setting. Cody has made the toad Lilly into a great traveling experience! He was very flexible with my odd schedule and the bunk in the back room kinda... More

good layout in hostel and close to all things in town. Very friendly and very clean. could use a few more fans thru out the house . can't miss the house with it's bright and colorful paint job. Just get off the bus at the goodwill and walk up west 5th street. eat at harolds-- good fish and chips.

We've been to Port Angeles for 2 days only to do some hiking through the Olympic National Park. It was a very last-minute inquiry, but we had a really nice welcome and Cody helped us a lot. Thanks for your advice: We enjoyed the Storm King trail even if we didn't get to the peak ;-) Good connection with the... More
