We picked this place for the location and the on site restaurant. The location is great and we enjoyed our evening walk to Marymere falls as well as the generally beautiful setting near Lake Crescent and part way between Hurricane Ridge and the Hoh rainforest. We were rather disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed when there is no other food nearby. The room and bed were comfortable but the bath needs some tlc. The caulk is old and black in places and there was very little flow from the shower head. So, nice string but...
We had the first suite that was 2 separate bedrooms with a kitchenette. Nice to have breakfast in room and prepare lunches for the day . Rooms clean and kitchen well supplied , A take our restaurant is adjacent to the property which was convenient. No Ac which usually is not a problem but we had hot temps , Fans are supplied ! Can hear road noise but at night it is quiet . Would stay here again if visiting Olympic NP.
This cozy and clean hotel is on the way from Port Angeles to Lake Crescent. We lived in a 2 bed room suite with a small kitchen. The host also has a small zoo, which was our most favorite. A Grandma cafe is nearby, but we did not have a chance to eat there (arriving late and leaving early). A low-pitch noise from the frig engine in one bed room may be a concern for people sensitiv to sound during sleep time. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay in Olympic Natl Park.
My family of three stayed two nights in #6 - the flapjack suite. It’s a lovely room and the only option that accommodates more than 2 ppl. Wonderfully refurbed and decorated A few notes- no A/C - but here are two fans and it cools down on the evening. Def found more than a couple spiders because it’s so close to the woods. A couple of the lights are in odd/ in convienent places for tall people but the addition of nightlights/ noise machines in both rooms is genius!
Great campground! Would definitely recommend staying here! This place was a quiet campground with everything you would need! Close to many things in Olympic national park. Just a short drive to Crescent lake!
Our family had a lovely stay at Emerald Valley Inn. The guest house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The road noise that some reviewers mentioned was never a problem for us. We were there for 3 days while hiking in Olympic National Park and the location was very convenient to Crescent Lake, Sol Duc springs, and Hurricane Ridge where we did most of our hiking. We ate out for most of our meals but cooked breakfast at the house a couple of mornings. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. Overall, our stay at the Guest House was excellent. From booking to check-out, everything was easy.
An enchanting place to stay! We stayed in Room #1, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a little kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable and each bed had its own white noise machine which was a thoughtful touch. The rooms were quiet, we hardly heard any noise from our neighbors. The farm animals are very friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Granny’s cafe is take out only, but the food is good and there are plenty of places to eat outside, and the views are outstanding! I would love to stay here again.
Very nice small hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, and helpful staff. Nice quiet place. Right off of 101 but we did not really hear much traffic. Not big room, but all the essentials - comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker, plus a small table/chairs, desk, rocker and clothes rack. We stayed in room 4. Not too far from Port Angeles, not far from many hikes on north side of ONP, and a peaceful, forest setting. Recommend, and I am fussy about clean rooms. This place was great.
Great location to explore Olympic National park area. Home was perfect for our family of 6 vacation. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with a bonus of Granny’s cafe next door. Easy check in, fast responses and wonderful people to work with.
Clean & comfortable, and safe room, friendly hosts, and charismatic animal neighbors- including adorable goats & large birds (ostrich or in the same family maybe?). Great location for many hikes, bike rides, & general exploring on the Olympic peninsula.
