This campground is very clean and organized, but the staff are really what made it for me. After a long day of travel I was welcomed, and they were so accommodating. I was able to upgrade to a cabin very easily, which I was very thankful for!

Campground is fine, pretty much on par with most KOA's. Close sites, open pull throughout right next to neighbors with no trees/shrubs between the gravel sites. But, we have found while traveling for many weeks that Internet is important for communication, and many of these places boast wifi but it doesn't work! This KOA is not busy at all and... More

This was my first time visiting this KOA location!!! The site was recommended to me by a RV visitor. After reading the review from tent users I was very nervous to stay here. I made the reservation over the phone with ease and requested a grass pad site. Our check-in process was quick and fairly smooth. The only issue we... More

This place might be okay if enclosed in a camper or trailer. However, for people interested in more rustic camping (such as a tent), the place is very disappointing. They have the majority (or perhaps all) of the tent sites right next to a very busy and very loud road. Because other reviews indicated here the site was outside town,... More

I've seen better and I've seen worse. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. I have read that the owners are new and making changes. The things we wish were different...get cable TV, if you are so far from a large town that you can't get channels with an antenna, then you need an alternative! Enforce the leash rules. Dogs... We stayed here for 3 days the first weekend in August 2016. The campground is located 7 miles outside of the city of Port Angeles, and fairly remote, so you will want to stock up on supplies before arriving. This KOA is very well maintained-both inside and out. The grounds were continually being groomed by staff. There is a large... More

I am not much for camping, I don't do bugs but wow this place is clean, the staff is friendly. The bathroom is clean (you do find some interesting things in the bathroom as well). There is plenty of things to do. The hot tub is absolutely amazing. The pool was recently vandalized so that was not an options for... More

We had a guest visit for 90 mins for dinner and had to pay 5.00 for her to park at our campsite. We can understand registering her vehicle, but having to pay 5.00 to park and not stay the night is ridiculous. Attendants were rude and overbearing. Rode up and told us, "That car can't stay here!" instead of saying... More

We've stayed in campgrounds across the country and this one ranks right up there. The owner is beyond friendly and super helpful. He bends over backwards to help. The lady at the front desk was very nice and even gave me a small discount for helping her write some items down that were being radioed into her for our reservation.... More

We arrived late at night and in the dark we were so impressed with the cleanliness and the beautiful added touches (flowers, landscaping, pet area, field area and games, pool and hot tub), most of all the CLEAN bathrooms. In the morning we were greeted by friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. We are very impressed with the pride the new... More
