This motel exceeded our expectations in every way. We booked a studio and it was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was bigger than expected and it would have been easy to prepare a simple meal if we had chosen to do so. The bed was superb and the entire studio spotlessly clean. When we arrived checkin was quick and we were made to feel very welcome. Great to be able to walk to nearby restaurants from the motel. This would be one of the best motels we have stayed in over our years of travelling in N.Z.

We were absolutely blown away with the 1 bedroom unit we had booked for our 2 night stay. Pam greeted us at Reception to advise that our room was ready to go ( she had been down and put the heater on) which was a lovely touch as it was quite wet when we arrived. The room was outstanding in decor, the beds and lounge were so comfortable and the spa bath was an added bonus (especially after our visit to the Glacier and the walk around Lake Matheson at Fox Glacier on our 2nd day). Will definitely recommend to others to stay here when they come this way. It's a 5/5 from us.

Place was absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. Spa in the bathroom was the best thing ever after a long drive. We arrived late at night after a very long drive from Mount Cook, had no reception through Haast so were unable to contact the hosts before they closed, but they were the loveliest hosts in that the left us a note on the reception door giving us instructions on what to do. Peter and Pam were the best, only sad we didn't get to meet them because we checked out early the next day. Would 100% recommend this place and if we were to come to Franz again, this would be the place to stay!!! Thank you Peter and Pam!

It is beautiful motel. The rooms are large, immaculate and quite large. Very comfortable place to stay. It is walking distance to all the restaurants and hiking trails. Check in was very easy and the owners are extremely helpful for all your needs.

I stayed at Aspen Court with my family last week. It's a very good place. Staff were very friendly. The place was very neat and tidy. They have turned on the lights for us for late check in. All the facilities were great. The bedding was very comfy. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks Joseph

Ive have to say this was the most well presented and cleanest motel room ive ever stayed. Bed was lovely and comfy and warm, had everything we needed. Cant comment about owners as only had a very brief check in process with him, easy access to shops, just a really nice place to stay

Just an overnight stay to break up my journey but would happily stay here for longer. Very clean, modern well equipped unit with parking space directly outside. Central heating radiators, heat pump and underfloor heating in tiled areas, you would not be cold here even in the depth of winter! Great shower pressure, comfortable bed and ‘real’ milk carton in the fridge was much appreciated. Location on the edge of town so quiet, and is only 5 minutes walk to everything.

Fabulous motel. Room was warm, spacious, modern, clean. Peaceful decor. Very comfortable bed. Loved the spa bath. Kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to great restaurants. Only spent one night in Franz, but could easily have spent longer here (we will do next time!)

We loved staying in the 2 bedroom unit with our 3 children. The rooms are lovely, modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Was a quick easy walk to access restaurants etc. Our children loved the spa bath. Would 100% recommend staying there.
