Stayed one night on our way to Queenstown. Weather was awful so couldn't do any sightseeing. Motel amenities scarce so a pretty boring stay. Quite expensive for level of accommodation $214 per night but guess it's supply and demand. Hosts however were very friendly and unit was large and clean.

We loved this accommodation! For the price, it was brilliant to have such a large, warm room, fully equipped with kitchenette needs and heated flooring! The internet was great and we were only a short walk from the cafes. The only flaw we had with the room was the curtains were too sheer to block out the light, which left...

We stopped here on our long coastal drive, pulling in during an absolute deluge. It didn't look like much on the outside, appearing more like a somewhat common roadside inn. The staff were extremely polite, to start. But the real surprise was on entering the room. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the overall quality...

Rooms were clean, comfortable and big. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked which would easily allow you to eat in if required. Beds very comfortable. Wifi a bit slow but did work. Staff extremely helpful and recommended activities and restaurants.

Booked through Booking.com based on price and availability. Could not have been happier with our stay? Though Fox glacier was rainy and our plans foiled, the hotel was spacious, clean and our hosts very informative and accommodating. We especially liked the king size beds (our only ones in 12 nights of stays), the nice selection of TV channels and the...

Fantastic location to see both Glaciers and easy walk to the restaurants and cafes. Room large and clean. Expensive for what it was, we were offered a cheap standby rate but on checking later it was actually cheaper to book on the internet. A bit disappointed with this.

Stayed for 2 nights, received a warm friendly greeting at reception. Located close to all amenities that we required with the Glacier Helicopter rides very close by. Good selection of cafes and bars close by with excellent choice of meals. Room was very spacious, clean with new carpets having just been laid. This was made more luxurious with the underfloor...

A great modern, spacious apartment with fantastic ammenities, without being a full-kitchen and extremely cleanly. This was in my experience (travelling up the west-coast/Christchurch and staying in places within a similar price-range) the best place I stayed in New Zealand. The one staff member I met was super-lovely and helpful and even helped me get to Lake Matheson (not easy...

Studio unit was huge with a large sofa area and a simplified kitchen (microwave, fridge, and sink). The room looked very new with soft fresh carpets, simple wood-finishing furniture, and a free carton of milk! The bathroom was more basic with no tub but very clean. Water pressure wasn't too great but the water was hot! Reception was friendly and...

Booked this location on the fly as our trip for heli hike was delayed. Location is pretty much in the middle of town, right opposite where we needed to be (Fox Glacier Guiding). Dining and Cafe next door as well, so its a good place to be. Accommodation was good, room was spacious and clean, could do with a little...
