I spent 2 nights in a cabin with a double bed. It was cute and cosy with a heater on a thermostat which is a great idea. Outside you have your own bench and car park space too. The showers were nice with great pressure. The TV lounge was separate to the kitchen which was handy and the kitchen had... More

Still a great place to stay, all amenities are good. New owners now, while the standard of cleaning in the kitchen and toilets is right up there, the fridge however had not been touched for some time. There were meat dishes going runny and containers of milk going hard. No excuse really as apart from these things, the fridge was... More

After camping here for the last 25 years it is still the "Best Camping Ground" around. Clean, safe, friendly people and gr8 weather!!! Lake Benmore is just 5 minutes down the road where we have spent many hours on the lake. Lots of gr8 memories and defiantly "My happy place". Look forward to next summer and our camping holidays and... More

Our motel was very comfortable, with reasonable facilities. We found a mobile coffee shop set up business for about an hour just opposite our motel. Once he had made the coffee he delivered it to our unit. And there he was again next morning! The camping ground has a range of motels/cabins as well as camp sites and is a... More

I had a kitchen unit and just shared the bathroom in the shower/toilet block. It had everything I needed. Very cosy with the added bonus of being able to park right outside my cabin. Nice and quiet with great hosts. Thanks for a great stay, and to Callum who checked me in and made sure I had everything.

Stopping overnight travelling between Christchurch & Te Anau, having spent time at Rakaia Gorge, Geraldine, Tekapo Springs & evening meal in Twizel, so didn't arrive until 10.30pm. The owners had phoned us around 8pm to confirm we were coming (just before I was about to phone them!), so I told them about our later eta. Not a problem they said... More

We were in the South Island for a sports event. The campervan we rented was very large and we were worried about getting in and out of a camping site - but we needn't have worried. We let Omarama Top 10 know we had a big Van and we were pleasantly surprised at the ease of access and space to... More

Stayed at this park in a campervan. Arrived the Thursday before Easter. We requested a power site and were told there weren't any available. Sat in a cold van, on an uneven site, in the rain with wet gear looking around us at numerous power outlets that weren't being used. Maybe they had been booked for Easter but definitely not... More

Being a busy weekend we do our best to accommodate everyone. We bought the park because we liked it and it had an amazing atmosphere. To your comments in regards to our toilets showers and Kitchen we have never had bad comments like this and maybe you didn't realize when you pulled off the road how close the road was??... More

We stayed here en-route from Akaroa to Invercargill. Omarama is not the most gripping of places and is a town that seems to have grown up around a cross roads. However, the site was adequate with clean facilities and good people in reception, and if you can get a pitch by the trees it is quire pleasant.

We stayed in a cabin with an ensuite bath and kitchenette at this Holiday park and it was very nice and clean. There was plenty of room for my husband and I with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was warm. The only negative was the wifi was slow and were unsuccessful... More
