Thank you for your review Peter which we really appreciate as we are always trying to meet the requirements of our guests. In response to your review we have now installed two air conditioning units - one in each bedroom. They will make a big difference on those very hot and humid nights. Best regards to you both and we...

The Merlot suite was on the ground floor of a cottage in the vineyard, with a second suite up above. It was a very pretty, private and tranquil setting. The service was faultless and the Merlot suite was beautifully equipped with lovely furniture. The kitchen had all the appliances ( and more) for self catering. The venue was very handy...

We would unqualifiedly recommend The Saltings to anyone and everyone. We have stayed at The Saltings on four occasions and each time Maureen and Terry have been incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The estate itself is located on the side of a hill in Sandspit that offers spectacular views of not only Maureen and Terry's vineyard but the harbor and...

It's a great spot with both perfect vineyard views and an ideal place for a romantic get-away. A perfect place to enjoy walking and exploring, wine tasting or just relaxing. Terry and Maureen are wonderful hosts and make you feel both welcome and special. It's the little extra touches that make it so memorable. The rooms and beds are individually...

We have had an annual weekend break here four times now, and if anything it just gets better. It is set in a peaceful garden with great views across the vineyard to the harbour. The rooms are tastefully decorated and Maureen is simply a wonderful host (her breakfasts are to die for). It is conveniently located for exploring the Matakana...

My wife & I stayed in the Bordeaux suite (self catering) for our 1st Wedding Anniversary recently and couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation! The Saltings Estate Vineyard is located 5-10 minutes drive from both Warkworth and Matakana making it an ideal place to base yourself to explore the area. The Bordeaux suite is at the far...

Stayed just one night in this beautiful B&B. Great views over the river estuary and the innkeepers' vinyard. The B&B is located in a quiet, scenic part of the North Island, a relatively short drive from Auckland. Great breakfast served at the B&B. Clean, but smallish room. Patio off the bedroom and access to nice common room. Marvelous gardens surrounding...

We stayed at the Saltings Estate in the Lavendar Room at the very end of our 1 month trip to New Zealand for 2 nights and it was just what we needed before the long and tiring flight home. Maureen the host originally from Tipararee, was very welcoming and immediately offered to book the restaurant for our first evening's meal....

Before we booked our rooms, we'd read many top-notch reviews of The Saltings B&B. They did not over-promise. We stayed in the Bordeaux Suite of the Vintner's Haven guest house. It overlooked the vineyard, the bay and the mountains--the best views of our entire trip! This place exudes comfort, from the heated bedpads to the fireplace to the nine-foot tub...
