We stayed at this lovely Lodge for a few nights to visit family in the area. What a find! The Lavender Suite and en suite bathroom were wonderful. The bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The area is extremely quiet and the property is so pretty and secluded. The decor is charming and the little attention to detail was so appreciated. The delicious home made chocolates, the liqueur for a nice nightcap, tea and biscuits. Just delightful. Brian and Heather were very friendly and welcoming. What a perfect place to stay.

What a delightful B&B. A gorgeous colonial home nestled amongst trees in a beautiful garden at the end of the lane. All you want for breakfast and a comfy bed with comfy pillows. Thank you to owners Brian and Heather for a lovely stay. Julie and Dave

Brian and Heather are wonderful hosts making you feel very welcome and familiar. The Rooms are beatiful and very comfortable. It is also very comfortable to visit Auckland by boat - no stress finding a place for the car. And the short tour with the boat is very nice and offers a great view. We are now Planning our next vistit for January next year!

House was beautiful. We had the lavender room which was detached from the main house so we had all our privacy. I think there are 2 other rooms in the main house with a share bathroom. Suggest booking the lavender room which was so pretty. Everything lavender and there is also a small coffee and tea corner with homemade biscuit for guest. The house is set in a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal for swimming when we were there. Pity it was such a short stay just 1 night. Nearby the house about 1km away there is a supermarket and restaurant so it is very convenient. 40mins drive and you are in the middle of Auckland city. Met Heather briefly but we had a lovely chat with Brian during breakfast. Brian is the prefect host and he makes good breakfast. Highly recommend Thank you

Stayed here because of proximity to family. Really good B&B. We stayed in the Lavender cottage which was adjacent to the main house. Very clean and well presented. Brian the host was great and breakfast was very good. Nice garden to relax in the sun and only five minute walk from the beach. Great stay and would recommend.
