We stayed for one night simply because it is close to the ferry for Waiheke Island. Cute place but old, dusty and needs some TLC. Old furniture, shower couldn't make up its mind if it was hot or cold. Nice to have a carport for the car though! The lady how was there at the time was friendly though. Only...

Broken toilet flush handle, shower falling off wall. Kid play area outside was filthy and broken down. I spent all my childhood and Teen Years in Bucklands Beach. Where the motel is, is a great location. When I was young it was a huge Block of land wit 2 tiny Holiday Bachs on it. The motel needs some TLC. Generally the facilities were OK but the owners need to get more active in keeping it in Pristine...

For the price this was a good choice of accommodation. Although the furniture was a bit on the old side , everything was clean and comfortable. I loved waking up to the beautiful sea view. The owner was helpful, although he had a strong accent so I struggled to understand the directions he was giving, not a reflection on the...

When we entered the hotel room, our shoes sticks to the floor, the room smells stiffy. We asked the owner to clean it better, but unfortunately he didn't done that. The furniture was from the 70's and the sofa was full with dirty spots. We had sheets on the bed with blood marks that wasn't ours. The owner is a...

We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at Buckland's Beach - fantastic looking location, and we had unit 9, upstairs, front and centre with the loft bedroom for the two younger members of our party. Auckland really turned on the hot sunny weather for us so having the beach AND a lovely pool were real bonuses, and twice we...

We were lucky enough to be able to upgrade from the budget Bushmans Hut to an upstairs waterfront unit for our 5 night stay. The Managers were very pleasant and helpful. View was stunning and everything you needed was within walking distance. Some slight maintenance issues, with the shower not being 100% waterproof; but can't fault overall cleanliness. Would stay...

We were in unit 9 which did have a great view of the beach but also had a number of issues including a bathroom ceiling covered in black mould and a bathroom light that didn't work. The light had obviously not been working for a while as there was tape over the light switch with Do Not Use written on...

Walking distance to shop and various restaurants. Beach across the road so a walk was enjoyable. Great accommodation in either separate villas or water views. Have stayed here on three separate occasions.
