This was an older style motel which was great for our two night stay in the gateway to the Northlands. Our hosts, Mary and Peter were lovely. They were very helpful in suggestions for further explorations.

This is a family motel that is very well run. The rooms are clean and very well looked after. The owner couple is very kind and can tell you anything you need to know. Our check-in was quick and hassle free. Sugar, tea and coffee are in abundance and you get your fresh milk at check-in. There are microwave and...

Nothing to rave about. Friendly host and the motel serves its purpose. There are family rooms with 2 bedrooms if required. Quite expensive for what you get however a comfortable spot. I'd probably research and see whether there is better value locally.

My Aunty, Nan and myself stayed here on our trip around New Zealand as a recommendation from friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would have stayed longer if we weren't on a schedule. The rooms were very clean, spacious and had everything you needed including electric blankets. The owners, Peter and Mary, were absolutely excellent and very...

Warm welcome from Peter and Mary, that could not had been more helpful. We were originally staying for two nights, but ended up staying there for three nights instead. The apartment had everything we needed...supermarket next door had good selection of food, so we ended up cooking our own dinner instead of going out to eat. Good parking space...laundry facilities....

We chose this motel as it was close to the trip location for the next day. The owners were very welcoming and upgraded us. We were in a 2 room unit at the quiet end. They had great advise for places to eat and anything else you needed. This motel is not the most modern but is very clean and...

Large windows in bathroom for breeze to circulate, Large black couch settee was comfy. 3 single beds in front bedroom, double in other, good firm pillows, needs warmer blankets/duvets that are not the counterpane cover. No closed wardrobe,...

Everything we needed for our stay, very clean and tidy. The owners were extremely helpful, and our trip on the Harrisons Cape Reinga trip was booked in as requested. Highly recommend this place to other travellers, especially those going on the Cape trip, as we simply had to walk across the road to pick up the coach trip.
