Cannot say too much about this motel but it smelt, it was dismal, more like a sad retirement home! It needs a re-vamp or closing down. I found no service . Yes they cleaned the bed , but i wouldnt sleep on it. Two nights in Faulty Towers !

After reading a few reviews but finding the rest of the local motels already booked out I was a bit reserved about staying here. For the $99 I thought the room was dated but still clean and comfortable. The woman at the desk was most pleasant and helpful and also gave us some free wifi time. All we needed for...

Ok, the place is a bit tired and it's certainly reflected in the decor however for $99 you can't expect the Heritage! It's got a few poor reviews and thats understandable. It's fairly basic but it's got a bed/tv/fridge and hot shower so depends what your needs are as opposed to your wants🤔. Theres also not much difference between the...

So nice that the staff could fit us in, everywhere else was booked out and they had just had a cancellation YAY for me.. Awesome staff, room was tidy but very well worn, i thought it was worth the price i paid $71.00. Such a beautiful place could so do with a refurbishment just to lift it a little. Maybe...

Big and friendly reception and then very long corridors. Rooms are plain and outdated, "reasonably' clean but have a musty smell. Bed mattress is soft. WiFi is limited to a very short time. The car can be parked in front of the room and accessed through the fire exit. For one night, decent enough but overpriced.

It was hard to pick a motel in Kaitaia from the outside. Even though it was looking a bit dated we paid for one night. It appeared that some of the rooms were being used as emergency accommodation for women and children escaping from domestic violence and perhaps some other ,homeless, people. My partner did not feel particularly safe. The...

Spent one night here and were almost the only ones despite the hotel having a hundred rooms or so. The restaurant had been shut down for 3 years but the bar was still open. All I can say is the price was right (under $100 NZ) but the rooms were old and tired. Clean and adequate but not great. The...

This old hotel is definitely in its original state which I found quite quirky, but it was tidy enough and provided all we needed for our short stay. Bed was a good size, we had a function at the hotel and our rooms were all placed close to the function room. We had a good night.

Booked here for 2 night business trip but left after one night. Hotel tired and seems to be in a 1980s time warp.... Obviously was once THE place to stay in Kaitaia, but now a shadow of its former self. Bar was closed, only eight rooms were occupied and instead of spacing the guests out they crammed us all into...

The worst looking hotel/motel I have every stayed in. Please don't be fooled by the reviews stating this place is okay because it's not!! Very dated room and bathroom was awful. Entire room smelled like mold. Don't stay here. Better off sleeping in your car.
