By unusual I only mean that we normally don't holiday so close to home and activities and dining habits have to be adjusted in these new times. The accomodation is a little dated but the hosts more than make up for that, they are engaging with interesting conversation and if you elect to have breakfast included you won't be hungry until dinner time. Facilities are good, location means a little driving although there is a service available which we didn't use that would take you to local restaurants and return you home. Room is well equipped with all the information you need to enjoy 2/3/4 nights away. TYVM

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. It was clear on the website that we could opt for room only or room with cooked breakfast. We opted to have breakfast provided and it was delivered to our room at the agreed upon time. Both breakfasts were great and adequately sized. Included a cooked breakfast, juice and the tea/coffee provided in the room. First morning was a big breakfast style and the following morning was eggs benny. Plenty of tea and coffee provided in room for us. Small sized UHT milk was supplied, however if you like a lot of milk in tea/coffee I would grab another small one (though they do bring extra fresh milk with the breakfast). We had room 4 which had a lovely sunset view from the balcony. Was lovely sitting here for breakfast in the morning also, watching the birds. Spa was really comfortable and positioned so you can privately enjoy a spa while viewing the trees/sunset. Loved the addition of a little tipple of fortified for us in room. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and happy to have a chat with us. Is on the main road, but didn't notice too much road noise from our room. Quite close to the attractions too. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

I have never had to write a review like this before. We booked in for a single night to get away from Brisbane, and at the same time help our regional tourism get back on it's feet. We booked direct with the B&B so as to ensure the owners didn't have to pay an agency fee and purchased the included 3 course breakfast for an additional $50. Very nice from the outside, but it was soon evident that the owners had shut up shop when Covid-19 happened and had not been back in the room since. We found a kettle with dead insects floating in it, the fridge door had some residual dried ?coffee and the pillows were covered in very long hair and crud. Unable to find the owner when I went looking to discuss the kettle despite 20 minutes of looking and ringing the 'assistace bell' 3 times. The website states "A three course country style full cooked breakfast is included in our tarrif...." well if you include the glass of orange juice, and two empty tea cups then yes it is technically, but on leaving the owner asked if we were going to pay for our breakfasts - Um I thought we had when we booked.... In summary, the website portrayal is misleading and could be open to challenge on the following grounds:- 1) The Bollywood Room does not have an ability to observe sunsets, the balcony is sited on the SSW side at the wrong angle and elevation to observe a sunset and trees obstruct any view - the website is at best misleading, and worst false advertising. 2) A Three course breakfast was not provided, a cook breakfast was, but the website specifically states "A 3 course breakfast is included in the full tariff" again a very misleading website claim. 3) The room cleanliness condition failed to meet the Tourism Accommodation Regulation 2007.
