Paperbark is a special treat for couples. We booked in a weekend, kicked back and enjoyed the atmosphere, the restaurant, and the location. Paperbark is a little oasis nestled amongst the trees near Huskisson on Jervis Bay. We arrived, checked into our safari tent, and took off on a couple of loan pushbikes into Huskisson. We had stopped there earlier... More

We took advantage of the wonderful winter deal, that was on offer, and experienced beautiful food and wonderful hospitality and service. It was cold but, the tents had plenty of warm blankets and they were very cosy. The flask of hot water that was provided in the morning for a cuppa was most welcomed. The restaurant is superb and very... More

We stayed here for my birthday for 2 nights in a Deluxe Safari Tent. The location is fantastic being set in a forest with wildlife everywhere from kangaroos on your doorstep to a cheeky possum in our tent to stick insects on the bath tub. The tents are great and reminded me of my time in Botswana. The bed linen... More

I've been wanting to visit Paperbark for years...so when I saw their Winter savings package (via Travelzoo), I thought "now's the time". Well, in fact...for me, winter turned out NOT to be the time. We were freezing....not in the actual bed (beautiful and luxurious bed linens) but in the cabin itself and, of course, in the outside loo and shower... More

This was a return to Paperbark Camp having previously stayed here almost six years ago and am happy to say that it`s still a uniquely delightful experience. From the greeting at receiption on arrival until checkout after a wonderful two night stay the staff are all professional, attentive & friendly. The Winter stay presented us with a few changes to... Set in a wonderful location in bushland with tents all set a decent distance apart for privacy. The tents are luxurious but the lighting is not exactly ample and is limited to mood lighting around the bed so there is no chance of having wine and cheese on your deck once the sun goes down (unless you bring your own... My fiancé and I visited Paperbark for a winter special. We stayed three nights. The tents are set in a paperbark forest. We could see wallabies, possums and so many birds from the comfort of our bed, or when we sat on the verandah with a hot cup of tea before breakfast in the mornings. Breakfast was amazing! Beautiful buffet... More

I must say- I totally agree with a previous review by Ellen H from UK. Paperbark does a lot of great things, but for the money we paid I thought it was disappointing. We were there for a July weekend at a Winter discount rate - yes I knew it would be cold, and most probably wet, yes, I did... More

We had two night stay at Paperbark on our way to Sydney from Melbourne. The king deluxe tent (yes, tent) suite was out of this world. It was the first time I had tried 5 star tented camping (glamping I think it is called), but definitely won't be the last. I didn't think that luxury and camping could go hand... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the King deluxe tent suite, which was great. The accommodation was certainly a luxury way to camp, which was fitted out beautifully to fit it in with the natural surroundings. We were there when it was quite hot, it's on the river but not easily accessible for a swim so we had... More
