I stayed here with a group of friends. It is a long journey to reach the lodge and the last part is by canoe, which I found quite boring as there was nothing to see. I had a suite, which was wonderful, spacious and very...More

The Hotel accommodation itself is good, although not luxurious. The staff were wonderful and did all they could with what they had.
However, there is no wildlife.... or rather very little.
The surrounding jungle is... well a jungle and must be fantastic for the botanist....More

Hi, sorry can’t help re pricing, we did this as an extension of another tour, so not priced separately. Yes, our room had its own bathroom (toilet, shower, sink), and the bed was very comfy. There was a water jug and glasses in the room, and a water dispenser by the dining room. There is mosquito netting which you can have open or closed, didn’t have an issue ourselves with insects though. We flew to Coca from Quito, which I think is pretty standard, and were met at the airport with other guests. Boarded a bus for a short ride to the jetty, got a chance to use toilet there, before boarding motorised boat for a 2 hour ride down the Napo river (fairly breezy). Stopped briefly to stretch our legs and use toilet again if necessary, before being allocated our guide and group (6 in our group in total) for the stay, and another 2 hour paddle canoe trip to the lodge. This involved guide locating and pointing out sights on the way, such as birds and monkeys. Waterproof ponchos are provided when required, as well as rubber boots (ground was very boggy when we were there). We went with open minds as to what we might get to see, and were very happy as a result. Hope you have a great time if you decide to do this.
