We stayed at this small hostal/b&b for 2 nights following our Celebrity Galapagos cruise. Our room was in the yellow building, upstairs, with a king bed and private bath-there also was an adjoining room which was blocked off for our stay but could be used by a family. Susan and Luiz are extremely nice hosts. Our room was spacious and...

This is the nicest of all of the lodgings in Mindo that I saw, or ate at. The rooms are large with bathrooms attached (and are quite reasonable in price - about $15 per person, plus tax). There is a full-service restaurant attached with breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Dinner meals consist of chicken, beef - steaks, fish as well...

I highly recommend this wonderful little bed and breakfast in mindo. It is called a Hostel but it has full amenities and private rooms and includes breakfast. Susan and Luis are awesome. They are fabulously helpful and interesting people. You will have a lovely night's sleep and enjoy the yummy food. I recommend you also try their pork chops for...

We didn't stay here (rather at El Descanso, perfect for birders and wonderful accommodation) but came to eat the delicious chocolate brownies. Highly recommended.

We went to Mindo on recommendation from other travellers and arrived in the rain without a place to stay. CasKaffeSu was conveniently located off the main road with a beautiful sign. That is where we met Luis and Sue, the proprietors. What a wonderful couple. So friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and reasonable at $12pp. including breakfast-Sue even...

Susan and Luis are excellent hosts, the accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious. CasKaffesu is close to the bus terminal and to stores and cafes in Mindo. Susan put us in touch with Marcelo Arias, one of the best birding guides anywhere. She also packed us a lunch, at 5:30 AM, for our birding trip with...

Arizonan Sue and Quito native Luis (or "Lucho") will give you a warm welcome to their charming B&B just off the main drag of Mindo, a hidden jewel in the equatorial cloud forest that served as our base and gateway for ecoadventures galore within a stone's throw of their front porch. Luis is a gardening enthusiast and he has many...

Found this hostal through a review from another tripadvisor traveller - I was worried about such a new place but we spent two wonderful nights in Mindo and loved this little hostal. It's brand new so doesn't even have a website yet -- although the owners promised to get one one up soon. I loved the design of the hotel,...
