Prettiest place I stayed in--bright exterior colors, the adobe feel, great plantings in the courtyard--also he most expensive ($30/night) but worth it. Tile floors, good bed nad best lit room I had. Owner very friendly and knowledgeable..
The room was clean and the breakfast was fine. It was loud a lot of the time between the music and people speaking in the courtyard, but the owner was friendly and the price was quite reasonable. Wifi was spotty in the room.
What we were told before we came and what happened when we arrived were not the same. We called and arranged rooms and a bird watching trip. The rooms cost more once we arrived, and the bird watching trip we had to organize ourselves once we got there. The owner says we miss…
Charming spot, obviously a labour of love. Owned by a very cool English-speaking Ecuadorian guy named Luis who plays haunting Latin American folk music with other talented musicians in the little bar every night. That alone was worth every penny for me. Friendly dogs roaming…
Room basic, could have done with some where to hang clothes but clean and welcoming. Family and dogs amble around, you feel a part of it. Location great, close to town but also quiet. Music on some nights.
"Rooms at back are quieter."
"Upstairs may be quieter."
"Book in advance and ask for a quiet room in case there are families with small children there during your stay."
"Ask for a room on the second floor, with great views of the surrounding mountains."
"We had three rooms with our group. They were all very nice! Some rooms have connecting bathrooms. I'm sure Susan and Luis will help you find a room that suits your needs."
