This hostel is tucked away out of the town it is set in a beautiful tranquil spot. The couple who run this hostel are charming and very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable; my room had a great view on 2 sides looking on to a beautiful garden and looking on to the mountainous forests. Breakfast was very pleasant and... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. It appears to be family-owned and run and the service was impeccable. They offer a great breakfast and even have a small bar if you need a cocktail or splash or rum at the end of your day. I traveled with my wife and 9 year old son and the room was... More

Ananaw is a short 5 minute walk from the main street of town, making it quiet to sleep and easily accessible to everything Mindo has to offer. The rooms are cabin-like set in a beautiful garden. I am quite particular about cleanliness and Ananaw is very clean. The beds are comfy. The hosts are so nice, extremely helpful and accommodating.... More

The hostel is located right in the middle of nature. You will listen the birds when you wake up. It is very relaxing to spend time at this hotel. David is a great host and he will provide you the best information. He is not fluent in English, however he will point out the places you should visit on the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. We had one of the cheaper rooms with the bunk beds but they were perfect. The lower bunk was basically a queen and the upper bed was a single. The view from the room (Room 2) was probably one of the better views on the property. We... More

This hosteria is located outside of Mindo enough to be quiet and restful, yet an easy walk to the heart of Mindo. The owner, David, is very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you are looking for an affordable, quiet place to sleep while exploring Mindo, I can strongly recommend Ananaw.

We originally booked for 2 nights and stayed 6 as we enjoyed our time here so much. Set amongst a garden and overlooking an orchard you are surrounded by wildlife. The bunk beds we stayed in were really comfortable and the room was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was fruit, eggs and toasted sandwiches. Dave one of the owners... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 days. I was sick most of the time I was here unfortunately. The owner David went above and beyond to help me get what I needed to recover. I spent most of my time in Mindo at Ananaw, because of my sickness, and I'm glad I found such a great place to... More

Our room was very comfortable, finished well and the beds super comfy. Our good breakfast was presented in a separate building with one long wall bordered by windows - you could look out into the lush gardens. Beautiful surrounds. Easy waddle to city centre. Owners are exceptionally helpful.
