A standard Ibis but the helpful staff made all the difference to my 6 night stay. Good location across the road from the beach and with a couple of restaurants really close by For the money a good option I would go back

Having spent two weeks here, at the Ibis Macae, with a few more days to go, I am very pleased! Ibis is a budget hotel with simple expectations for creature comforts, but kind, helpful staff can make such a difference in a long stay. The breakfast is reliable and fresh, with good coffee. Evening, weekday buffet dinners are varied and... More

This Ibis is well located, right in the center of Macaé and within a walking distance to the beach. It is the best price you will find in the city, since everything there is expensive (oil city). The hotel is currently under a renovation process, which was much needed. Some floors are already done and it is much better than... More

The rooms are remodeled, with hard surfaces and NO carpeting. It smells much better than carpeting. The hotel is one block from the beach. It is a clean, long sandy beach with medium coarse sand. The food at the hotel is mediocre (except for breakfast) but there are other restaurants nearby within walking distance. There were a couple people at... More

Staff are very nice but the hotel needs an urgent renovation.. The room smell like mold. The breakfast is a good deal... Very cheap and they serve from 4 am thru mid day. The towels and sheets are very clean and smells good and they have a lot of free parking lot. The hotel is close to a lot of... More

One shampoo and soap, exactly as all other Ibis, location is good, you can walk to the beach restaurant area with several good options. If you don't ask they will not recognize you merbership status, as all other Ibis.

Hotel with fair price for business trips. I stayed there to reach many offshore companies, and the location allowed me to road through the city without problems. The hotel is close to the beach and some good restaurants and bars, It allows you to have a good dinner or happy hour without getting a car!

The hotel is a standard Ibis hotel. It is easy to find right on the main highway crossing Macaé and not far from the shoreline. Poor Hotel and Roms where I don't want to Stay a Second Time. Breakfast was more or less ok but also only Basic. There are much better hotels in Macae. Next Time I will Stay in another One. This hotel is Maximum for One Night.

How this hotel is rated second in Macaé is beyond me. Although value in Macaé is generally lousy due to a shortage of hotels, The Blue Tree, Best Western Dubai, Othon, and Mercure are all far better quality properties than the Ibis. This hotel has all the regular drawbacks of an Ibis (tacky rooms, no stocked minibar, breakfast excluded), plus... More
