Hotel Wailea has cracked the code of providing a truly memorable experience through a thoughtful combination of service, atmosphere and incredible team members. We visit Maui annually and will never need to search for the “right” property again. The good things are great and there are no bad things. The rooms are beyond comfortable. The shuttle service is flawless. The property immaculate. The pool peaceful. The food cravable. There is no rushing on aloha time. Hotel Wailea exemplifies this as there are no crowds and no bustling. Complete peace and relaxation. Not once in over two weeks did we hear “you will have to wait.” Let’s discuss the team. Not only do they make everything effortless, they are sincere, sociable and knowledgeable. This includes and is certainly not limited to: Aric, Jade, Sean, Aaron, Matt, Keyana, Kahaku, Gracie, Jessica, Michaela, Amber, Nick, Zane, Kruz, James, Brooke, Chelsea and Gustavo.

Hotel's Favorite
So perfect for my birthday and our anniversary celebration! Wow, from the moment the complementary valet took our keys to check out, the experience was amazing. We love the mature and respectful vibe of this adults only resort so we could fully relax. Details of our assessment are below however in summary, we would most definitely come back to stay here! * View: We got room 121, a partial view room, but to our surprise, from our deck we had full view of the ocean. In other places, “partial view” meant there’s probably a building blocking most of the scenery. * Room size: Plenty of room for us as a couple, essentially a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Ample clothing storage. * Beds: really comfortable * Kitchenette: So complete: separate fridge and freezer, microwave, sink, electric teapot, espresso machine, still and sparkling water. And oh yes, real dishes and silverware! * Table/desk: Desk wide enough for two that could double as dining table space. * Seating: L-shaped sectional, chairs for the desk, and full dining set and lounger on the patio. * Bathroom: Generous space, awesome open shower and deep soaking tub, also super wide sink/vanity * Deck/patio: Spacious with amazing views of garden and ocean * Climate control: Full A/C, ceiling fans * Tap water: We used it for coffee/tea and drank it as ice water— no issues * Privacy: felt private with no-rooms in front of us, also pretty high on a hill and wide grassy area out front so no foot traffic in view. * Noise level: Really good, there is some road noise that could be heard from the room, but it’s not like it’s a major thoroughfare so was totally manageable. Also, closing the patio door, it’s pretty silent. * Pests: Almost none. It is the tropics, so outdoors we did get a couple of mosquito bites on the patio. Again, this will be the same anywhere in Hawaii so with some Off I’m sure you’ll be fine if your sensitive. * Pool: Incredible! We surprised ourselves by spending the most time here. Great warm water temperature, pool-side drink and food service, comfy cabanas and lounge chairs, spotless facilities, and not crowded at all. * Beach: With Wailea being such a popular beach, it was such a relief the hotel has it’s own set of lounge chairs/umbrellas just for guests. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Sand and water were amazing, swimmable, and no rocks/coral to speak of near the shore so water shoes not really needed. * Crowds: On the hotel property, pretty much non-existent. Even at the pool, on average we saw about 15 people and everyone was respectful of noise. * Service: Super friendly and felt really genuine talking to each of the staff. * Parking: Valet and self parking.

The Hotel Wailea was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. They completed any requests we had in a timely manner and made sure that all our requests were taken care of promptly. The views from the suite are spectacular and even though the hotel is not right on the beach, being set back made for great whale sightings this time of year! We absolutely loved our experience and would highly recommend anyone visiting Wailea stay here!

This is our 3rd visit to Maui and this is hands-down the nicest place we’ve stayed! The Wailea area is definitely our favorite area to stay when visiting. This property is absolutely stunning and so well-maintained. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. The service is top notch. We were treated like royalty! We really enjoyed the laid-back vibe at the hotel. We highly recommend reserving a cabana and relaxing poolside at least 1day during your stay. It was the most relaxing experience with great food and drinks delivered right to you all day. We also took advantage of the beach valet service where they drive you to Wailea Beach and then there’s someone there to set up chairs, umbrella, towels, water, etc for you. That was a great experience and makes going to the beach SO EASY! Our room was an Oceanview Suite and we had an amazing view of the ocean from our lanai. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean several evenings on the lanai. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was one of the nicest I’ve seen in a hotel. There’s a small kitchen area that we used daily. We were super happy with the room and it felt like our little home while we visited Maui. We cannot say enough good things about this place! We are definitely planning to stay here again during our next visit the Maui!

I stayed here on my first trip to maui and it exceeded expectations. Definitely beats the other spot I stayed at in Wailea. Will be back one day for sure. If you're looking for an adults only experience with a 24/7 pool, great service, great food, and tons of character, stay here.
