As recommended by our Canadian friends, we came to see the hotel Wailea on our first trip to Maui. The hotel is magnificent. The architecture is so unique. The moment you enter to the lobby, you want to stay and admire the view, the surroundings for a long time. The music

This is, hands down, the nicest hotel that my husband and I have ever stayed. This was our first time on Maui, for a delayed honeymoon and a birthday celebration for him, so we decided to splurge on staying here. Best decision and we don't regret spending the money one bit.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this hotel yet! My husband and I stayed at Hotel Wailea in March 2018 before transferring to Ritz Kapalua for a work function. The Ritz was also fantastic, but if we could have stayed at Wailea the entire time, we 100% would!! The grounds are

It is a beautiful property and the staff are really good. Our first ocean view room, which was on the ground floor, was facing a busy street and the car noise was evident. We asked to be moved to a quieter room on the second floor and they very kindly worked it out for us. Big

The hotel has a free car service to any place in the Wailea area. They use two new Tesla model X cars. For my two week trip I never had a wait to get from the hotel out and the typical wait once you call the hotel for pickup was 5 minutes. No need for a car and plenty of great restaurant choices nearby. If you want to walk you could however the hotel is up a hill so the walk back could be a little bit of work. Good luck!

Depends on what hotel you are staying at....we were at the Hotel Wailea and they shut their beach area down at 5 pm. Don’t confuse with Wailiea Hotel which is on the beach. Ours was a cool, boutique hotel about 1 mile off the beach
