We went here for Spring Break. I'm sure this place was beautiful and immaculate in it's day. The resort has gotten a bit run down over the years and needed some attention to details. ie- cracked tiles, repainting, level of cleaning. (compared to the Four Seasons next door) The hotel is large and is a long walk to the pool/...

Our seven night stay was both enjoyable and disappointing. Good value in garden level rooms, but when the bellman apologizes for the state of the room as he is unlocking it for you and telling you that renovations are about to happen, well, this does not make you feel like you are staying at a nice resort. The furnishings and...

We are not people who generally like hotels and would not have chosen to stay at the Grand Wailea but for the fact that my 15 year old needed entertainment other than spending time with her parents. In fact we were dreading coming here, large hotel, lots of people and lots of small children, having said that it isn't as...

During my stay, my credit card has been charged wrongly several times.. which is USD2600 and USD2100 ..... For the service, it was one of the worse service not only Hawaii but also any part of the...

I am currently unfortunate enough to be stuck at the Grand Wailea for the next five days. From what was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime has turned into more of an endurance which I cannot wait to end. This hotel looks fabulous and the setting is gorgeous. However, the service and the poor attitude of staff leaves...

For many years the Grand Wailea was a prestigious resort in my mind - first class service, upscale, elegant and immaculate. However, that has definitely changed. First, not sure if they were running some type of special but the hotel guests were at times scary. Not sure the best way to articulate this, but I've had similar feeling when visiting...

Definitely a 5 ++ resort. Beautiful ammenaties. You better have lots of money to stay there. Go off the property to eat because we found the prices in the hotel is outrages. The cheapest place to eat there is the Kula Cafe which is a cafeteria style place.

Traveling with my 11 year old daughter, the draw here was all of the slides in the pool area. They were fantastic, along with the grounds. However, the actual hotel rooms were average/above average and it is a very busy place, making service average, as well. Everything is a distance and hilly, so it takes time to get from place...

Aloha RBSC, Thank you for choosing Grand Wailea for your vacation with your daughter. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the pools and grounds; the slides are a family favorite! The Hotel staff will always make you feel welcome, and the pool is the best. The beach at the Hotel is never crowded, and it is a great place to watch the Wales and has a great area for snorkeling and scuba diving.
