We spent 3 nights in this beautiful colonial house. Leticia and Oscar were very welcoming, friendly and it was a pleasure talking with them. The breakfast was HUGE and tasty, and the house is located only 10 mins away from the main square. Great experience! Here is their email address to arrange bookings : oscarf(at)nauta.cu

We stayed for two nights with Oscar and Letitia (with a night in between in Trinidad) and couldn't have been given a warmer welcome. The Casa is spotless, quite large by Cuban standards and within walking distance of most of Cienfuegos. Oscar speaks good English and was able to offer us some tips about where to go. Evening meals are not routinely offered but there are a number of reasonable (by Cuban standards) places to eat in the city. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Leticia's and Oscar's Bed and breakfast (casa particular) for two nights over the 2014/2015 New Year period. We were referred to them after the first bed breakfast had double booked.
Leticia and Oscar welcomed us their century old wooden house, which was in impecable condition with large high ceilinged bedrooms and big windows. One of the bedrooms had a large en-suite while the other had the bathroom across the hall, which was not an issue.
We had a great supper with them for the the New year and then watched all the festivities in the street (burning of a straw figure representing the old year, proceesing around the block with a suitacse (to show that you would travel in the next year) and throwing out water from the front door of the house to "wash" out the bad things of the previous year, as well as the traditional toast with sparkling wine ant middnight.
Oscar and Leticia willingly talked about life in Cuba and its issues, shared recipies, organized taxis back to La Habana and really welcomed us into their lives. We all felt that we had lucked out in staying with them instead of the first B&B.

Leticia and Oscar are caring, thoughtful and genuine hosts. Oscar met my wife and I at the Viazul bus station, only a 2 minute walk where he helped us towards his house. The wood colonial house is very beautiful and well maintained, built over 100 years ago in French colonial style, with incredible genuine furniture inside. There is a calm, clean and peaceful ambience in the house, perfect place to take a rest and relax. The bedroom was large and clean with high celling, and nice furniture’s with a large “en-suite” bathroom. There is a large fridge in a separate area between the bedroom and bathroom, perfect for not disturbing your sleep with the noise. There is also a patio terrace in the back of the house to enjoy during mornings or evenings the reading of a book. This is the best "casa" we have been in our two weeks trip.
We ate very well while we were here, as Leticia is an excellent cook. Breakfast is really good, an excellent platter of local fruit followed by bread, homemade guayaba sweet, butter, cheese, eggs, and fresh vegetables, accompanied by fresh fruit juice and either tea or coffee. At dinner, we would recommend you to stay in the casa and ask Leticia to prepare her "Ajiaco", the best food we had during our 2 weeks travelling around the island.
We really enjoyed talking to both of them who were very friendly. We spent a wonderful time in this peaceful family, we only stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed for longer. We are looking forward to coming back again to this casa in our next trip to Cuba.
César & Laura.

We have spent 4 days in this house last November and we have really enjoyed it. Leticia, Oscar and their beautiful daughters have been really kind and have given us the opportunity to share time with them getting in touch with the real Cuba. Our little girl Alice. 3 years old fell in love both with the house and the family. My boyfriend was ill and they have assisted us for all our needs, Oscar even came with us to the doctor. I can say that we have found dear friends in Cienfuegos and all the family of Oscar will remain in our mind and heart forever. The house is really beautiful, it has 106 years but seems to be new as Oscar keep renewing it. It is located near the bus station and the city centre, very strategical position! Leticia cooks delicious food, we have really enjoyed all the meal! The room was large and comfortable, very clean and spacious I suggest everybody to stay in this wonderful house!!!

The casa was recommended to us when we were still in Trinidad. Our plan was to spend two nights in Cienfuegos, but because we enjoyed the time with Leticia and Oscar, we decided to stay there three nights.
The house is beautiful and well maintained. The room was big and clean. We had a private bathroom and a refrigerator, which was convenient for cold drinks after long walks in the city. Leticia made great food and the family made us feel really welcome. They played with our 1,5 year old boy and we had nice chats in the patio at nights.
I recommend the place for everyone who wants to visit Cienfuegos. Memorable experience and exceptional people.

I was in Oscar and Leticia's house the last year, and it was the best experience. The house is a big, great, fresh, clean, cool, classic cuban wood house. The room is as big as my home in Madrid and it has his own conditioned air, with an independent bathroom, hot water, and a freeze. Leticia is a great cooker, also a great speaker, as Oscar is. I recommend this place 100%

We stayed one night at Casa Hostal Leticia & Oscar. The owners are extremely nice and kind, always smiling. Breakfast was copious and excellent quality.
We had the room in the back with private bathroom, extremely clean and spacious. A/C a bit noisy so we used the fan.
The house is a colonial house and it's very characteristic and beautiful inside.

We had 2 nights in Cienfuegos and this casa was great. Very near the bus station if you arrive with Viazul. It's on a calm street so no problem with the night sleep. The room had AC and a fan. Clean bathroom and good spacious room with closet. There is a fridge outside the room that you share with the other rooms at the casa. Around 15 min walk to the city center/ boulevard, but it's a nice walk and you never feel unsafe even when it's dark. Oscar speaks good English and helped us to book a taxi to Rancho Luna (-great beach), and he also followed us to the bus station when we left so we found the check in for Viazul. The breakfast was very good and was served at the time we wanted. We had a great time at this casa and would stay here again if we returned to Cienfuegos.

We only stayed one night in Ceinfuegos but the hospitality of Leticia & Oscar is unforgotten. They were amazing hosts and the casa is very beautifully built. We travelled with 2 friends that had a baby with them and Leticia simply played with the baby most of the time. The breakfast was great and we had interesting talks with Oscar. We highly recommend staying here!
