My wife and I had a very positive experience overall at the resort and the overall satisfaction derives mostly because we are pretty low maintenance people in general. Our wedding was executed without very many hiccups at all. Priscilla and the rest of the staff was very attentive. The rooms were comfortable, And the grounds were well-maintained. We had no issues nor complaints from any of our guests except they are short staffed so the check in took longer than it should have. Our wedding evening was excellent and everyone had a terrific time mostly because we have a phenomenal group of friends and family that make the lives of any Caterer very simple having spent many years inside of the event industry we understand the stresses and know when to pick and choose our battles. With that said we had a favorable and positive experience overall. After reading some of the other reviews we also did not ever meet Yasmina after speaking with her for Close to two years via email, but I don’t really know if that makes much of a difference because Priscilla did a phenomenal job, I think that Priscilla and Yasmina are actually the same person… Joking not joking. Villa Montaña is definitely not a inexpensive place to have a wedding in Puerto Rico so if you are very cost conscious you should do some research. And if you think that your party may need a little extra effort to dance do not rely on DJ Joe he does not really know how to DJ he is basically just flipping music on and off based on a playlist he does not have the DJ read of the crowd that is required for a really high-level DJ. I guess that is why he is DJ at Villa Montaña instead of any other Venues… in hindsight I definitely would have hired an outside DJ but because my crowd was going to dance to even a boom box in the corner it did not affect the outcome of our wedding. Yhasmina did give us a free night in one of the villas prior to our wedding which was very appreciated and added to our experience. Again this review is for the benefit of others looking to have a wedding at villa Montaña, yes I would recommend it here but if you are going to be a bridezilla…. You know who you are…. Then keep some of these things in mind. Like I said form the beginning. We are pretty easy going and for us we were very happy with the overall experience and would even come back to stay as guests in the future. Thank you Villa Montaña…
Wow there is so much I could say about Villa Montaña AN AMAZING PLACE to get married.. they see your visions and created it for your perfect and unique day, we stay in this resort for Our wedding with out family and friends and EVERYONE WAS PLEASED, clean, great service !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
We stayed at a King bed garden view suite( 3031). It was very clean and spacious. Got a lot of use out of the small outside seating area. The tiny kitchenette had all the essential items plus washer and dryer. Would have liked to have an ice bucket available. The gardens are well maintained and provides a beautiful setting to walk around or simply enjoy while sitting out in the terrace. The beach area is a short walk away and we
Friendly service and welcoming staff. Resort is in amazing condition, from the villas to the zen pool and the beach loungers, all pristine. Eclipse restaurant was amazing and staff made us feel at home. Thank you!!! We are planning on returning for our anniversary in December!
This is a fantastic place and I'd say somewhere for the peace seeking traveller. Amazing spot on the coast, totally unspoilt and a hotel brimming with character and beautiful touches everywhere you look. Warm welcome by the staff who helped with our baggage and we found our room excellent on all counts. Very clean, great decor and good space and natural light. There's an amazing restaurant on site "Eclipse" overlooking the ocean which was way beyond what we could have imagined. Top class food with top class ambiance. Don't miss the romantic sunsets by the beach. Our first time to P.R. and loved the vibe in general.
