The picture on the web site looks quaint and cozy. Looks can be deceiving. The staff was friendly and breakfast the next morning was very good. We were apparently upgraded to the suite. This is up stairs with a bedroom and bathroom across the hall. The tv was at the end of another hall and after turning it on found... More

My husband and I booked a night here off of the reviews and were very excited for a cozy night away. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly lady who did seem a little confused about our booking. We had booked a single queen room as per the pictures on the website, instead we were given two... More

Beautiful historic building, that was both warm and comfortable. We booked it on a whim, for a quick 2 day getaway and were both SO glad we did! Beautiful setting, backing onto a waterfall (which we didn't know until we go there!), a short stroll from a soft sand beach. We spent probably two hours just walking around the fisherman's... More

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at the Port Albert Inn and were pleasantly surprised! When we first arrived late on Friday, one of the owners (Angus, I believe?) was extremely welcoming and helped get us settled in then showed us a map of the area and gave great suggestions of things to check out while we were there.... Looking for a place not too far from home, just a short getaway. I must say we found the best when we booked a room at the Port Albert Inn. It was a short but beautiful drive from London, the Innkeepers were great, as was breakfast & I loved the ambience and all the local history!

The Port Albert Inn is full of history & alot of nooks & crannies to investigate. I would not say it was luxurious but it was wonderful in its' own way. I had a great little room with all I needed. It was a quiet, relaxing enviornment & the owners (father & son) were very helpful & full of wonderful... More

This was our last stop on a 4 day road trip. I found it on the internet and prebooked the 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults. I have to say it was one of the highlights of our trip. It was everything I was hoping for and more. We arrived about 5 pm and it was getting a little chilly.... More

We checked in late and were greeted by a very friendly man. He was very informative of the area and had great recommendations for food. The atmosphere was very tranquil. They had candles lit on the tables inside and out as well as going up the stairs. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The next morning... More

This is not a new fancy hotel but an inn from the 1800's. It has lots of character and we enjoyed visiting with Mark, the owner, who is very knowledgable and interesting. The breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, homemade bread and fresh fruit. If you want a place with character and friendly proprietors, it is perfect. Beach within walking distance... More

stayed one night in September '15 while on a long weekend road trip. Angus was welcoming and friendly on our arrival and checked us in with no fuss. Breakfast was well organized and plentiful. Not fancy but all or more than you could need and served with equal friendliness. Our room was very nice, it's an old inn and the... More
