Lots and lots of activities. Our grand-daughters are young athletes. They were able to swim in the lake, bike and hike on beautiful traills. Went to Eagles Nest where the view is awesome. They came fishing with grand-papa and caught Bass. Great week! We have already planned for next year.

We just came back from spending 5 days at Calabogie Lodge Resort. This place is a heaven for all water activities: the resort is right on the lake, literally so. There is a nice sandy beach for swimming with a waterslide; all sorts of watercraft are available: we took the canoe out a couple of times and rented a sea-doo. If you are into motor boats, you can come with your own (or rent one nearby) and motor away on the lake. The lake itself is a beauty: it is big, the water is clear and warm in mid July. We swam every single day of our stay. Other things that I thought were great about the resort: public bbqs available in several places so you don't need to bring your own, the tennis courts look very nice, there is room for kids to bike around, etc. All in all, a summer paradise, especially for families. And the staff are terrific: everyone is kind, attentive and helpful. Will come back for sure at the next opportunity.

Our Family has been vacationing her for over 10 years and purchased several summer weeks of timeshare for our Family Vacation. The Facility is perfect and has everything we need being a Family from nearby Ottawa, with kids of varying ages. The Staff and ownership are always courteous, Very Friendly and always willing to help out. GREAT WORK TO ALL! Each year we bring up water craft or boat and each year, we reserve WELL in advance. OWNERSHIP _ PLEASE READ - We note that each year the desk staff are struggling to accommodate all the requests from either people who didn't reserve or people who park in the slips that aren't allocated to them. The staff manage but we can tell this is a strain on them and less tolerant people take it out on the staff. EVERY YEAR I have personally noted that there are slips that remain empty ALL WEEK and others have their boats on trailers or have to negotiate with the Restaurant or Urban to "Rent" space on their docks / slips. THIS SUGGESTS that Renters / Owners are reserving slips but not parking any watercraft there. Solution - When reserving and Slip - have each watercraft provide their boat specific registration number and then each boat can be accounted for and there will be a legitimate watercraft parked in each space, Additionally the staff will be able to figure out which boat is in the correct place. Also end of every evening shift have the staff (Simple spreadsheet looking out the window) tally the vacant slips to provide the people on waiting list with ability to use the space. (Even if only for partial week). DOCKS TOO SHORT, the docks are perfect for a 14-16 Aluminum boat but for a 18 foot or over the docks are difficult to tie up to and boats overhang the docks causing strain on then in rough weather / risking damage to boats or even catastrophic failure of the dock, which has happened. We had to negotiate our way onto an URBAN Fixed dock - which is only sitting on the bottom and not secured to the shoreline. THESE ARE PURELY Constructive Criticism to enhance the facility and improve experience also providing risk / liability mitigation. Once again THANK YOU for a great summer.

We were on a small vacation, 4 days originally. When we got settled in, the first thing we did was see if we could extend our stay as it had everything, including R & R which was most needed. Our 2 bdrm. unit was a bit dated, but due to Covid-19 the scheduled updates were delayed. It was still clean, comfortable and had all see needed for a very enjoyable stay.

Just came back from a week at Colabogie Lodge with my family, (me, my husband & 2 children 21 & 17). We LOVED this resort. The room was very spacious (on 2 levels), clean, it came with a full kitchen & the view of the lake was great over the ground floor patio & 2nd floor balcony! Beautiful sunset views over the lake. There are plenty of water toys i.e., kayaks, SUPs, canoes, peddle boats that are free to book when you are a guest here. Very easy to maintain self distancing & you can book the indoor pool for your own private 1/2 hr due to Covid...I'd love it if this was maintained after Covid! It was so lovely to have your own private time & very easy to book. There are great hiking trails nearby. The very manageable hike to Eagles Nest was breathtaking and a 'must do'! We loved the restaurant with its outdoor patio featuring LOTS of space between tables. Even though we made many meals in our unit we ate there several times. After we went once we had to go back! My husband & son loved the seafood platter - very generous amounts of fish & shrimp! The staff at the restaurant & everywhere for that matter were the nicest we've ever experienced at any resort...ever! We love this place & hope to return again next year! Maybe every year! Thanks so much to all the staff for making our stay there so great!
