This unique B&B includes a private classical piano concert with wine, and a gallery of rare maps, prints & books. A generous hot breakfast is served in the dining room on antique Limoges china. Among the smallest B&B's in Natchez, it offers one separate Cottage with two bedrooms.

Enchanting art, delightful host, comfortable guest house, with a fascinating history.
We booked Joe’s home last minute after deciding on a whim to spend the night in Natchez. Best decision of our entire trip. Joe is wonderful. His home is full of surprises and every single item has a story that Joe is happy to tell. His knowledge of the area and his deep love of history kept us captivated for multiple hours. The conversations flew by!
The cottage was very comfortable with strong air conditioning and fitted with everything we would need. (Especially loved the touch of Joan Rivers lore.) My friend and I really enjoyed the covered porch with attached patio while an evening storm passed. The colorfully lit landscaping with multiple fountains kept us outside until midnight.
Our biggest surprise during our stay was Breakfast. Want to know what it’s like to feel like royalty? Joe pours coffee from sterling silver pots and serves food on 19th-Century French china. It felt like a scene from Downton Abby or Gilded Age. We were left in awe.
Peaceful, serine, and so so comfortable. An absolute must stay if you’re in Natchez.
I will be returning again from NYC. Thank you Joe!

The best B&B and a must stay in Natchez. It really made our trip! Mr. Stone is a wonderful and knowledgeable host. The cottage with its pouch and courtyard were perfect for our getaway. Mr. Stone was so accommodating and has great attention to detail (such as different colored towels for each guest). His delicious breakfast served on the house china was definitely a trip highlight! His dog is also so well-behaved! We really enjoyed his pecan liquor he served during our own piano concert before dinner, in which he talks about each peice he is about to play and its creator. The stay is an experience in itself. We will be back!

I had been wanting to visit Natchez for years and its beauty did not disappoint. Staying at the Stone House Musical B&B made our trip all the more special. Joseph is a wonderful host, he generously took time to explain the history of the home and its furnishings, many of which have been in the Stone family for generations. Breakfasts were delicious and served on fine china and silver. Best of all, Joseph is a classical musician and we were treated to a piano concert in his music room. Everything was just perfect.

The musical talent of the host, Joe Stone, and his willingness to share it with guests definitely gets top billing at this unusual B&B. As is customary for guests staying multiple nights, we were offered a private piano recital, with champagne, and we eagerly accepted. He played a variety of pieces—Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, among others—but what really made it rewarding was his preview and post-commentary on every work, adding an extra dimension to the musical experience.
The rest of the experience hit all the right notes and would have been excellent even without Joe’s piano. We enjoyed a private two-room cottage behind the main house; both structures are lavishly furnished with period furniture, with the rooms serving as a small gallery for art and maps, most of which are for sale. In fact, we bought a picture to take home with us.
The breakfasts were wonderful, and varied, throughout our 3-night stay. We had great food while in Natchez, but I think Joe’s breakfasts ranked at the top. Being served on Limoges china was yet another special touch.
Finally, we enjoyed all our interactions with Joe. In particular, he joined us at the table near the end of breakfast and we chatted about a wide range of topics for an hour or more. It made for a relaxing pace while being mentally stimulating. Stone House proved to be an exemplar of Southern hospitality, impressively delivered by its capable owner (with very cordial support from his canine assistant, Precious).

The cottage, which is behind the big house, is a perfect place for privacy, charm and comfort. Joe Stone, the owner, is most accommodating and engaging. His breakfasts are delicious, unique, and delightfully served. It is located in close proximity to downtown and the river, all within a mile or two. I highly recommend this B & B in Natchez.

Our first time to visit Natchez, but will not be our last! Our stay at Stone House with host Joe and little Precious was more than ever expected! We stayed in the lovely cottage and it was so comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We felt like a king and a queen as Joe served us a homemade gourmet breakfast every morning. I enjoyed the conversation, history, all the knowledge Joe has and that he took the time to share with us about his home and Natchez. Our last minute weekend getaway was one of the best trips we've ever taken!! We will see you again, soon!

My wife and I spent three nights at the Stone House and loved it! We had been wanting to visit Natchez after reading the Greg Iles novels. Just remember, the house and cottage are historic and old, expect some creaking and groaning. Both buildings are filled with antiques and Joe Stone is only too happy to tell the stories behind them - very interesting! Joe is a sterotypical southern gentleman and serves-up a delicious breakfast. He also is a very acccomplished classical pianist and will play for you His dog, Precious, is also a delight - cute as a button, friendly and well behaved. A very nice place to stay as you visit Natchez.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the very comfortable two bedroom cottage adjacent to the main house. We have lodged at many B&Bs over the years, and most have been delightful, but this was unquestionably our best experience. The main house is truly a museum of fine art, antique maps, and books. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. But, by far, the happiest part of our experience was the time we spent talking with the owner, Joe Stone—truly a wonderful soul. We have family in Natchez and try to visit as often as we can. We will always stay at Stone House. Thank you, Joe!

Superb stay in Natchez. Joe is a great host who makes his family home a most inviting place for his B&B guests. He is also an accomplished pianist, who played his grand piano to our delight. House has magnificent landscaping and charming varandas.

Joe was a most interesting & thoughtful host. He has beautifully restored his family home and was very willing to share the history, the stories & the available things to enjoy while in Natchez. The breakfasts were very good & stunningly served on fine china & silver. However, the most enjoyable & special part of the stay was a piano concert given by Joe. He played thrilling classical pieces for nearly an hour—and just for us!! Even though we were the only guests, he still played the entire program. Special, indeed!

I don't have 3 rooms for March 20. I have only 1 room which has 3 beds in it, capacity 4 guests: 2 in the queen bed, one in each of the other 2 beds. The cost for 4 guests using 3 beds in the one room would be $225 plus tax.
The master bedroom has 3 beds: a queen-size, a twin-size, and a three-quarter-size (which is wider than a twin but narrower than a full.) The cottage has two bedrooms: the front bedroom has an extra wide queen-size bed, and the back bedroom has a full-size bed. There is no swimming pool. There is an an antique billiard hall. For all guests there is a concert of live classical piano music with wine (included in the b&b price) and hot breakfast served on antique china. There is a gallery of antique maps, prints and books in the main house as well. Thanks for your interest. Sincerely, Joe S.
There are more places to choose from in the Natchez area.
