We hit Natchez during the Fall Pilgrimage when many homes are open for tours--this being one of them. This was inadvertent and we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Our hostess gave us a house tour when we checked in but we didn't see her again during our stay, most likely due to the tour preparations. Breakfast was...

When seeking a Bed and Breakfast in Natchez, we were told to call Valerie at Pleasant Hill and she would take care of us. She surely did. Pleasant Hill is a wonderful place to stay. The downstairs rooms (we stayed in the queen) are spacious and well appointed. They open onto a lovely sun room with a view of the...

We didn't stay at Pleasant Hill but chose it in our tour package for Spring Pilgrimage. It was a beautiful house and the owner, Ms Valerie was a very gracious, relaxed hostess with a fantastic sense of humour. We could have stayed on the front Porch listening to her funny stories forever but inside the house was amazing too. A...

Wow! We are so happy that we visited Natchez and stayed at Pleasant Hill. In a bit of a last minute decision, we tacked on the trip to Natchez after a few days in New Orleans. John and Valerie Bergeron, the owners, greeted us with incredible warmth in spite of being in the midst of the very busy Natchez spring...

Hotel no5 of 9, this guest house should be kept a secret, it is without a doubt full of southern hospitality and charm, even though we turned up 1 hour early, valerie was still the most pleasant, helpful of hosts, a short walk to a few bars and restaurants, thankyou val & john for lovely stay

This is one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in, Val and John are such welcoming hosts, and their home is absolutely gorgeous with every detail beautifully executed. We were the only guests the night we were there so had the run of the lower level where most of the rooms are. There are wonderful indoor and outdoor common areas...

Pleasant Hill is a delightful B&B with truly the best innkeepers I have ever met. John and Valerie are the epitome of a southern couple. The back porch is fantastic for reading and a cup of coffee and I wanted to keep the bed! The lawn was tended beautifully and the home close to anything you would want. Breakfast was...

I would not stay any other place while I am in Natchez. We have stayed there twice and we are looking forward to another stay. Valerie & John are wonderful. She made lunch reservations and was willing to make any other arrangements we would like her too. We truly enjoyed our visits during breakfast with other. We have always felt...

Beautiful appointments, relaxing indoor and outdoor porches and each bedroom has a private bath, this is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The homemade breakfasts were superb and the owners were absolutely delightful hosts. Our hosts helped with recommendations for restaurants and made the reservations for us too. I'd like to give this place 10 stars on a 5 star scale.

This is the best home that we saw on our Pilgrimage tour and we were able to stay here. This period furnished home has every luxury that you could want in a B and B the Bergerons go out of their way to make you feel at home. Valerie made all of our dinner and lunch reservations at her favorite...

“We always choose 4, but all of their rooms are nice and comfortable. We looked at all of them. We choose this one because it was the first we had and we liked it so we continue to request it.”

“Keep in mind that cancellations are devastating to B&B's much more so than at a hotel, and note the cancellation policy. Most B&B's are forced to adhere to these. It's fair, plus it's necessary.”
