The house is at a very convenient location in town. Both the owner and the manager are very nice and helpful in making it a pleasant trip. The house is lovely and the room is very high-end and comfortable.

We loved our stay at Rising Sun! Dr. Lee and Michelle were wonderful hosts. The room was so clean and beautiful! We stayed in the Regal Suite which was stocked with chocolate candies and several snacks as well as coffee! I also loved the herbal soap that was in the room, it smelled heavenly!! We will definitely be back again!!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Natchez to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary. After reading many many reviews I finally settled on this cute little B&B. We were contacted several times to make sure we had all the info we needed upon arrival. We were greeted by the owner, Dr. Lee and manger, Mrs. Michelle, when we arrived and they showed us the house and our room.

We stayed in the ivory room and it was such a lovely room. No one was renting the other room so we had the whole upstairs to ourselves which was very nice. The room was very clean and had plenty of space to move around and the bathroom was so large! The jetted tub was perfect for an evening bubble bath and there was shampoo, conditioner, soap, and make up remover wipes provided for us. We loved the little coffee set up with mini fridge and microwave, although I wish something besides powdered creamer had been available. There were also chocolates left in our room each night. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of extra bed linens and towels available in the closet.

Dr. Lee and Mrs. Michelle were able to give us lots of info on the town as it was our first time visiting. One of the reasons I chose this B&B was because I liked how they provided vouchers for breakfast instead of cooking it in house. This provided us a lot of flexibility and we enjoyed a private breakfast with just the two of us. We went to the Castle Restaurant at Dunleith the first morning. We walked there (it's around 2 miles away or so) and while it was a nice walk there, the walk back around 11:30 in the middle of June was quite hot. But if the weather were a bit cooler I would say it is very easy to walk and we enjoyed getting to take our time and look at the houses and all the beautiful crepe myrtles. The second morning we used the other voucher to go to the little coffee shop. The service isn't the best there but the food was very good and we enjoyed it.

One of the best parts of this B&B was the location. It was very close to town and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We didn't have to use our vehicle at all. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance and we loved walking down to the river.

Over all we had a wonderful stay at Rising Sun and we will definitely book it again next time we visit Natchez!

Dr. Lee and Michelle are two amazing people. My wife and I went up for our anniversary to spend 5 nights but had to come home early due to a family emergency. We sure wish we could have stayed our full stay, because we were treated like a royal family. Dr. Lee and Michelle went way out there way to make you feel welcomed. We definitely will be making a trip back together visit and we will always pick this place. A+++++ service and people.
