Detailed Reviews
Natchez Manor Bed and Breakfast is a gem in the heart of downtown Natchez! The location is perfect-easy walking to many shops, restaurants, and the river. We spent 8 nights there when we evacuated from Hurricane Ida and I must say that the experience was excellent!. The staff immediately becomes your ‘family’ and goes out of their way to ensure that your stay is a pleasurable one. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Entertainment is at your fingers at the Franklin Street Bar or, you can spend an evening at the Rooftop Bar which is a perfect place to enjoy a drink and watch a beautiful sunset. The food is awesome [be prepared to add a few pounds as you enjoy home-cooked meals]. Breakfast is included and some of the best Southern Cuisine is available to you in the Southern Bistro. Thanks to the entire staff at the Natchez Manor for making our stay during a very difficult time, a very enjoyable one. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The Natchez Manor is a lovely, historic B&B hotel located right in the heart of Downtown Natchez, only about five blocks from the Mississippi River, and you're able to get to most of downtown on foot. Most days I didn't even use my car. I'd recommend getting one of the two 2-room suites available, which are larger and look down directly onto Franklin St...it's worth the extra money.
Each morning you are served a hearty home-cooked Southern breakfast, which will fill you for most of the day, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but at the same time give you as much space as you need.
As an older building, the Natchez Manor has character, though it has all the modern amenities you'd expect. Also, as I was staying in Mississippi in August, I'm happy to say that the air conditioning was excellent throughout the building, and you can set it as you wish in your room.
I needed to do some work on my laptop while in town, and though the room did not have a work-desk (it has tables and multiple chairs for comfort), guests have access to the spacious roof area with a lot of tables and chairs, and also the basement, both of which are set up like a bar, providing a lot of space to work undisturbed. I used the rooftop daily and sometimes the basement, if I was working before sunrise.
Honestly, anyone who values a unique flavor and some historic character in where they stay would definitely prefer the Natchez Manor over a typical hotel. The bed was large and very comfortable--I brought my own pillows but I didn't really need them with the fluffy oversized pillows provided. The staff build up a personal relationship with you and I was provided anything I requested. There was also a huge ice machine on the upper level, the room had a refrigerator and a sink, and there was a Keurig coffee maker that was well maintained. The two room suite also had 2 TV's, although I only used one of them a few times as there is a lot to do in the greater Natchez area.
If you like a laid-back classic Southern feel and don't require everything to be super-modern, the Natchez Manor is like a home away from home. I stayed for a week in August 2024, while I was in the area, and really enjoyed it. I give the Natchez Manor my highest recommendation.

We were looking to get away for the weekend at the last minute after Hurricane Ida knocked out the power at our house, and booked a suite at Natchez Manor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They were nice enough to accommodate us on an early check-in when my wife wasn’t feeling well and needed to lay down. Sunday brunch was delicious, and was the best meal we had while in town. The location is perfect, being right in the middle of downtown and within easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants, bars, and the river. We never had to drive anywhere! It was a perfect escape from reality after a long week of dealing with Ida’s aftermath. This place is a great option for anyone staying in Natchez.

We stayed two nights at Natchez Manor and I must say our favorite thing was interacting with the staff. Every single person we encountered there was exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful. When we first arrived (not realizing there is no dedicated parking area) downtown was bustling and there were no available parking spaces. After circling the block several times we parked a block away and walked to the Manor to ask about the parking. A lady who was there eating lunch offered to move her car and let us park! Fortunately about that time a space opened up, and while my husband went to get our car, she and the front desk clerk stood with me in the parking spot so no one would take it before my husband got there! That was the beginning of the friendliness and hospitality we received the entire time we were there. Each morning we were treated to a full, DELICIOUS Southern breakfast by the chef. He was a kind, gentle-spirited man who really knows his way around the kitchen! We also enjoyed being able to walk everywhere while we were in Natchez. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay at the Natchez Manor.

The highlight of the stay was the front desk manager and her young staff at breakfast! They were superb in making sure we were fed properly and that we got a table for brunch.
The foyer and dining room for breakfast were bright and charming. I loved the windows and tall, elegant French doors.
However, the room we stayed in was a bit shabby. We had booked the Queen Sheba room but were changed to the Sir Lawrence for unknown reasons. The Sir Lawrence room door lock needed repairs, the carpet was stained, the TV did not work, the bathroom wall behind the toilet had patch work done and a brown smear. The bathroom counter top did not have enough space to put things on and no end table by the bed on the other side. We could hear the sound of music drift up from the breakfast room in the morning and the music down from the rooftop bar at night.
The wonderful hospitality and voucher we received by the front desk manager and her young staff the next day made up for the shabby room experience. The food was good and the breakfast room was beautiful!

We stayed at the Natchez manor house for one night as we traveled through Mississippi. The staff could not have been nicer or more, accomodating. The Old Historic Hotel is right in the middle of downtown Natchez within easy walking distance to many restaurants my and historic Antebellum mansions.
Our room was furnished nicely and very clean. The bathroom sink could have used a little more attention as it was not completely clean. But other than that we were very satisfied.

Brunch!!!!!!! The brunch surpassed exceptional and the Chicken and Waffles was delicious! This is the Majestic King and Queen of Chicken and Waffles and I am comparing this to Breakfast Klub in Houston and Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.
The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing and this is Absolutely the best Brunch place in Natchez. I’m so excited for my hometown to have a restaurant with great food, great drinks, and a rooftop experience that was amazing. Very cozy and awesome vibe! I can’t wait to experience the night vibe when I’m back in town. I am a loyal and dedicated customer and will see you soon

Our stay at the Natchez Manner was wonderful even though they were doing some painting during the day in some of the rooms. we were not disturbed at all. No paint smell! Rose and Mary were friendly and knowledgeable about Natchez and took great care of us. Love the antique furnishings and our breakfast was over the top. We plan to go back and stay longer next time. We were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary!

Thank you for the kind review. Ms Rose and Ms Mary are some of our best attributes to the Natchez Manor. Yes, we are painting for some dearly needed renovations. We're excited for new AC units! You'll get to see them on your next visit. Happy Anniversary!

Perfect location, easy booking, and great staff are just a few of the perks of the Natchez Manor! We went to get away and relax, and this place definitely made that happen. It is walking distance to several great spots although you don’t need to go far because the roof top bar is a perfect place to hang out. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. This is a place we will definitely visit again!
