We have stayed many times at Acqua. Regardless of the current circumstances, the staff is great, hotel very clean, and breakfast wonderful. Great views across the estuary and close to Saucy, SF, and north to the wineries and PCH. A great stay.
The wife and I stayed here this past weekend. It was a great location and well insulated for sound. The breakfast was fantastic and varied. With vegan options. Rooms look out on Richardson bay. The room was comfy we were upgraded to a king room.
This hotel was so close to a perfect review. Easily the spendiest of our hotel stays during our fire evacuation, but also easily the best. The views, grounds, and location in Marin is really tough to beat. They also allow pets with no additional cost. A rarity. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. Where we came just ever so short of a perfect review was cleanliness. Rooms need a good spring cleaning or scrubbing. Nothing blatant or horrible, but also not really up to par with the cost. That said, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely food, great vibes and atmosphere. Would definitely come again! It was amazing and a lovely atmosphere- the menu was varied and the food was delicious and not too spicy! Such lovely staff and quick and friendly
Perfect hotel that I’ll stay at again and again. Guadalupe was like a bed and breakfast hostess, making sure we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Overlooking the water, the grounds are beautiful; the lobby is cozy but not too small, and each evening around 5pm they offer a lovely cocktail hour. The breakfast buffet was immaculate (bring a few dollars to tip the staff- they deserve it) and delicious, which is saying a lot because I’m picky. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and I found the beds extremely comfortable. In the near future the bathrooms (particularly the hairdryers!) will need an aesthetic refresh.
