Stayed two nights. I had some hesitation after reading previous reviews, however my stay was quite pleasant. Convenient location to explore the Marin Headlands, Muir Woods National Park and Mt. Tamalpais. I requested a room at the back of the building on the second floor (I don't mind the stairs) and it was very quiet. The room was small, but clean and attractive. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room amenities included fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good lighting and sufficient number of power jacks. Bathroom with everything in working order, plenty of shelf space. Standard toiletries. Good shower with excellent water pressure. Complimentary wifi. Easy parking. Excellent value for the price paid.
Perfect location close by Muir Woods National Monument. It's very clean and cozy and owners take pride in their hotel. I'd definitely stay here again! Hot water for showers, coffee maker in room, flat screen tv with cable channels. I'll stay here again for my next visit to Northern Ca.
Muir Woods Lodge is located for very convenient access to Muir Woods Monument. Rooms are clean and comfortable and there are plenty of good restaurants are close by. Motel seems to be family run and they were very friendly - even the kids were professional! We would stay here again - not fancy but a good value!
Wish we could give this 5 stars. It is a great location, great value, the rooms are updated and clean, there were two arm chairs and a desk chair to sit in, check in/out was friendly and quick, but the beds were so uncomfortable! I ended up having to get up in the middle of the night and sleep in an arm chair. Even my 7 year old grandson commented on the discomfort.
Old motel style accommodation a la motel6. Three miles from Sausalito, walkable alone sidewalk and path.?Loud street next to it, bring ear plugs. The only good thing was that it was close to drive into muir woods national monument. On site parking okay. Some rooms with view of bay.
