A warm and friendly welcome soon dispelled memories of a wet and windy drive up from Buckinghamshire and our hosts Di and Peter had plenty of suggestions for making the most of our weekend. Our room ('Bluebell') was pretty, clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches, eg a dish of wrapped toffees on the table, a box of tissues,... More

Beautiful location, Di and Peter hospitable friendly and helpful. Full of character. We stayed in Sunflower. Lovely large double Victorian style bed, very comfy. Di even provided a flask of fresh milk for our tea in the morning. Nourishing tasty breakfast with home made lemon curd and mouth watering full English (Welsh). A perfect start for walking around the hills.

Arrived and chatted with owner Di who was very friendly. No sign of cakes and scones as mentioned in previous reviews. Shame. So got settled and went out early for dinner. Stayed with two small children in the Sunflower room. Beds uncomfortable unfortunately, double bed certainly needs a new mattress. Shower room is a bit run down and needs updating.... More

Bron Heulog is a lovely place to stay in the charming village of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant. This time we stayed in the Sunflower room, which is large and bright, and very pleasant and comfortable. Di and Peter are wonderful hosts, the house is lovely, breakfasts done to perfection, and the complimentary biscuits and toffees in the room are still there... More

We arrived a little early for our check-in time at the house on the hill to be welcomed by Diane as if old friends. Having moved our goods and chattels into "Bluebell" one of three flower themed rooms, we were treated to tea and some of our hostesses home made bara bryth; delicious. The room was well appointed, the en... More

We only stayed one night, but were impressed by the overall standard, the welcoming tea and bara brith (home made), the cleanliness and appointment of our lovely room and the food at breakfast. Real milk in the room for our morning tea was an unexpected luxury! The house itself is a lovely example of Victorian architecture, with a beautiful sweeping... More

Diane Crocker was the perfect host! Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable and immaculately presented. The home-made scones and local jam on arrival were a perfect welcome! Only surpassed by the local butchers bacon for breakfast!

We recently stayed at this B&B where we were warmly welcomed by the owners Di & Peter. We were greeted with homemade chocolate sponge & local welsh cakes; & pots of tea & coffee were frequently replenished. We were attending a family wedding at the local Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall. The bride & groom stayed in the self catering garden cottage... More

Great three days in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant working on family business. The Bron Heulog Guest House is a very comfortable place to stay with lovely breakfasts and a great welcome from Di and Peter. Can also recommend the village butcher!
