I had reserved a "queen suite" and we had double bed in the room. By the time we realized bed was not a queen, the office/store was closed. The AC unit did not work, it blew air, but no cool air, so we slept with all the windows and the door to the hallway, as well as the door to...

I got free upgrade, to a spacious cabin, good value! Nice setting in the quiet green woods. The heater is a bit loud, and the lobby & mart smells. A good rest place for day hikers, a 3-min walk to the national park, though I happened to be in the area during heavy rain. I got no cell phone signal...

We loved the place. We made a fire and just relaxed. Very close to the entrance of the park. Yes the inside is a little dated, but it's very cozy. If you expect a luxury place, move on , this is not for you. Staff was very helpful.

A good hotel just a stone throw distance from the mount rainier entrance. Tidy rooms and nice, clean and cozy beds. The nearest restaurant is around 5 miles from the hotel. The service was prompt and satisfactory.

as other review said, great location, 50 feet from entrance, which is why you are there. office closes early so if you arrive later, there is no check in until next morning. the staff is not rude, but not super friendly either.

Very close (50m) to the Mt Rainier NP entrance, good restaurants in 5 mile distance. Very silent, good atmosphere, and vibe, extremly fresh air. Espresso is available at the reception! :) Don't expext luxury, but it's the perfect place to start and finish your hike at!

Some of the reviews seem a bit heavy handed. If your expectations are that you will be staying 50 yards from the entrance to Mt. Rainer National Park, in a Hilton, you will be disappointed. Funky, odd choices for deco, and fit and finish is like a place that is very seasonal. We had 3 rooms, with plenty of room...

We were in a roomon the second floor above the general store, Room was large and eclectic. Everything worked. Cabins would have been preferrd as lthye looked nice. You couldn't be any closer to the NP.

I had low expectations because of other negative reviews, but my cabin was just fine. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I detected no musty smell as reported by others. The staff were friendly and helpful. I

The reason anyone would stay here is the convenience of the location. Just above bare bones. At least they have Wi Fi here, because you will not get it in the park. The beds are not for those with back issues. It was quiet, because most people who stay here are those who wish to be close to the trails...
