Perhaps I've seen too many horror movies, but this place made me feel like I was in one. My wife and I arrived at night, the walk way wasn't lit, there was a room we were told to leave alone, the parking spot wasn't visible from the cabin, and also we had no cell service and there was no land... We stayed in Wildflower and really loved the cabin inside with all the wood and beams. We especially loved the bedroom in the loft overlooking the comfortable living room and fireplace. They thought of everything to make your stay memorable. Very cozy and welcoming and we would most assuredly return. Also, dinner at the Copper Creek Inn just down the... More

We stayed a long weekend in the Mountain Lily cabin which is part of Almost Paradise lodging. Yes, it is cozy but plenty of room for two. It had everything from lounge chairs, cooler, fire pit with wood, kitchen area, nice shower....all the things you would have in a hotel room. This cabin is away from the main property which... More

Clean and the location is great if you are visiting Mt. Rainier NP. We stayed in the Paradise Guest House. It is attached to the owner's residence, however it is quiet and you don't hear anything. Walking the property is, unfortunately, discouraged so that you don't "disturb other guests and for privacy." You are expected to stay in the area... More

Close to Mt Rainier, tucked away in a quiet spot. Very clean. No breakfast or interaction with owner or other guests. The Rainier cabin was a bit too small for us old folks, but we still enjoyed two days there. Grocery store is far, and you will need to bring everything you need with you. No tv, no phone or... My best friend and I are in the midst of taking a girls trip and wanted to spend the night up in the mountains. This was a great spot. The cabin was really new and very clean and had all you needed for cooking in the kitchen. The towels were amazing. Sofa and beds were perfect. It rained that night... More

I had been searching for a cabin to rent for our first wedding anniversary. I knew I wanted something with a full kitchen and a hot tub. I am so glad I came across this place! It's in a beautiful woodsy setting that is quiet and private. We stayed in the Paradise Guesthouse. The kitchen had everything you needed to... More

NOTE: This is a customer service review only - not of the lodging itself, as explained below. We had planned a trip quite a few months out to celebrate an anniversary. Unfortunately we had a family emergency that threatened, and ended up canceling our trip. Almost Paradise has a 15 day notice of cancellation policy, so if we cancelled we... More

We decided that a cabin would be much nicer than a hotel while staying at Mount Rainier. We were not disappointed. We rented the Wildflower cabin from Almost Paradise Lodging. They were very responsive to our emails and phone calls. Every aspect of renting from payment to driving directions was perfect. Upon arriving our host, Carol, was very friendly and... More

I must have spent weeks looking for places to stay near Mt. Rainier. My husband and I wanted an authentic "cabin" feel but didn't want to rough it at a campsite or a place that felt like we were at summer camp again. We were looking for something newer with more modern amenities, something close to the park entrance and... More
