We stayed for one night in Cabin 3, which was very comfortable and quiet. We loved the beautiful woodwork in the cabin and restaurant, and the bright flowers in the garden beds. The complex is lovely and made us feel like we were in a European village. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the delicious Ukrainian dishes for dinner. We enjoyed seeing the various projects underway, such as the pool and water slide, and we admired the owners’ grand vision and creativity. The only down side was that staff were sometimes hard to find, such as when checking in and at breakfast. But it all worked out. And, for us, the warmth of the people and uniqueness of the place were worth a few slightly rough edges.

Stayed 2 nights in cabin #1. Small but spotless. Great renovation. Quiet. Did not eat here but they did a great restaurant business. Beautiful pastries. Would definitely stay again. Close to NP. Deer were a bonus

This is a slightly strange place. It's clearly been recently renovated, although the outside was slightly off-putting. Room was great though. As there's not much in Ashford, we decided to eat in the restaurant. There is a small manual but the food was excellent. The place is owned by a young Ukranian couple and the menu does have an eastern European feel. I had the salmon, my wife steak and we both agreed that this was one of the best meals we had on our vacation. Only downside was that the restaurant didn't serve alcohol but they seemed happy for you to bring in your own. Breakfast in the morning is served in the little bakery/cafe/. That was fine.

Really nice place just 5-10 miles outside mt rainier National Park. Room was clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Only minor gripe with the room was the size of the shower you could hardly move in it. The cafe and restaurant were simple but all the better for it and the food from both were excellent. The staff were constantly trying to help and extremely positive which was great.

The good: king bed, fairly large room, sofa, nice size fridge, hair dryer, fan, portable heater, nice TV (would be nice if they provided some directions). The bad: They have obviously spent some money trying to update the room, but it is still an older place. Laminate floors throw rugs are very slippery. Step up to bath. Wooden walkway outside room is noisy. Walls are thin. You can hear conversations in next room. Heated bathroom floor that we couldn’t control so our room was hot in evenings. Not much flat space to put stuff. No desk. Small shower. Wash basin takes up a lot of room so there’s very little space to put things on vanity top. The grounds and check-in areas are kind of a turn off; need to clean things up and get rid of some junk. We decided not to eat in the restaurant. Breakfast: No napkins. The guy running the café left for a long period of time so we couldn’t ask for any. Food was OK if you just want bagels and cold cereal and fruit. The hot food wasn’t very good except for the scrambled eggs which were real eggs.
