What a wonderful hidden treasure. Situated in the mature pines of the forest only a mile from Mt Rainer entrance. The sites were ample in size, most had fire rings and tables. Power was limited to 30 amps but there is no need for AC. The staff was very helpful and friendly, laundry/showers clean and neat. This is a great... More

This place is amazing. The cabins are cute, cozy, and clean. The cabin we stayed in was newly refinished, very well done. The owners are very approachable and helped us with anything we needed and any questions that we had. Definitely would stay here again if we get the chance to return.

We chose Mounthaven based on its close proximity to the park entrance, very convenient and easy access. Some RV sites are very tight, it would have been nice to be able to guarantee our spots with the two other families traveling with us, reservations were made several months prior to the trip It took some convincing for Zandy to allow... What a fantastic place!! I loved pulling out the adorably decorated entryway and reaching Mount Rainier National Park in 1 minute!!! Trees everywhere, immensely quiet, excellent staff, knowledgeable owners, adorable deer, and immaculate grounds!! For the cabins I was very impressed!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I got to see other cabins nearby and I feel Mounthaven is truly a perfect family retreat. Clean,... More

This is the best spot for those visiting Mount Rainier -- and the people who run it are excellent. We had full service hookups for our camper, a strong wi-fi connection, and enjoyed the great location and facilities the resort had to offer. We highly recommend!

Zandy and James do an amazing job of making their idealic spot welcoming every time we visit. The cabins are not only clean, warm, and cozy, but they are by far the best place to stay near Mt Rainier. Mount Haven is close to the park entrance, yet nestled into the woods, making it the perfect stay.

We arrived late afternoon for an overnight in our RV. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Sadly there was a thick mist, so we still cannot tell in which direction the mountain was meant to be. We tried to book in again 3 days later after visiting Seattle, but unfortunately they were full. (Book ahead).... More

This is a small well kept place with a warm and friendly welcome. Set in woodland and very close to the Longmire area of Mt Ranier NP, we found it to be very peaceful. We stayed in our RV rental and the site was quite level, a good size and had full hook up. We had a lovely time that... More

We had passed by Mounthaven Resort many times on our way to Mt. Rainier and always commented that it looked like a great place to stay. We were right! We camped in our travel trailer and enjoyed the peaceful forest setting. The grounds are well cared for and even have a laundry room. Our boys enjoyed the play area and... More

I was traveling through the west this summer and camping the whole way. We stayed at this resort before heading to a wedding in Seattle. It was the perfect place to transition from the woods to the city. The cabins are beautiful and Zandy and James are so friendly. I would stay here again anytime.
