Stayed at the Lyncombe for a 2 night weekend break. What a find....up a windy tarmac drive in the woods with lovely views. Very relaxed comfortable atmosphere, nothing pretentious. Comfortable, clean quiet room with large TV, tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. Staff friendly. Thoroughly recommend this quiet hideaway with easy access to Weston...

We stayed for two nights on 23rd and 24th October and really didn't want to leave. Our room was warm, cosy and had many of the things we've all come to expect from small hotels nowadays, tea making facilities, and smellies etc., but what we hadn't expected was bottled local water, an ipod docking station/alarm, a huge television at the...

We stayed for one night on a groupon deal with our dogs - All I can say is that we had a super time, the hotel, staff, location, food, all were wonderful. We would definitely book this hotel again and would recommend it to all. The room was lovely in the garden as we have dogs so this was easier...

Really good quality, well cooked food, with excellent service. Nice friendly staff, a lovely clean, airy restaurant (music a bot dreary, but each to their own). Surprised it hasn't been busier when we've been, as the quality and taste of the food really is the best in the area....and about the same price as a pub in Winscombe up the...

Got back from a 2 night break at the Lyncombe Lodge. We booked this hotel from a Groupon offer and paid £49 for 2 nights including breakfast. I will start off with the positives as the location of the hotel was really nice. The breakfast was also really nice, with a really good selection. Unfortunately the room we were given...

My wife and I and another couple stayed recently at Lyncombe Lodge and we were very pleased indeed with our 2 day holiday there. The rooms in the main lodge were not large but adequate although the rooms in the chalet in the garden were quite small although our friends did not find this a problem. All the staff were...

We stayed for one night to visit Cheddar Gorge, which is only a 10 minute drive away. We stayed in one of the chalets next to the lodge itself. The lodge is set in a beautiful wood, very pretty and I'm sure a lovely place to explore. The chalet was small but functional, the walls were quite thin so I...

I visited Lyncombe Lodge hotel in September 2013 on a Groupon deal. This made it really amazing value, at £39 for two including breakfast. We paid an extra £15 each for two children to stay in addition. If I had paid the standard tariff I might have been less impressed, as the hotel is really quite basic and the decor...
