If you don't get your code of the owner to get your keys out of the key safe your buggered. He's pretty useless getting back to you. A complete s@hit hole. building site at the back.not forgetting he charged us for B&B (no refund) when he knew full well he wasn't providing any food on site. You'll get a lecture why and apparently it's down to covid- 19 Waited 3 months for the refund for the breakfast he charged(still not received).. I guess this is how is is cashing in on the covid*19 charging B&B but only providing you a room only.
Although breakfast isn't served at this hotel the rates are still excellent value for money as the rooms are large and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful and always seemed cheerful. The restaurant and bar on site while not cheap provided very enjoyable food to a high standard with good service, even offering to make and keep a sandwich in the fridge for us to gave the following lunchtime. The price suggests the hotel will be cheap, cheerful and budget while the reality is a room and experience of a much higher calibre. Will certainly use again and recommend to others.
We have used this hotel a few times in the past to stay the night before flying out of Bristol airport and it is usually very good, however this time round was a completely different experience. Whilst it was very handy to leave our car at the hotel for the duration of our holiday and it is very close to the airport, I'm afraid we won't use this hotel again in the future. Prior to arriving I received a text message from the hotel with instructions on how to access our room key from the locked safety boxes located outside the hotels main entrance. This was very easy to use, however I found it strange that there was no staff or reception available to greet us. We accessed our key, found our way to our room and it soon became apparent that we were the only people in the hotel. Very odd!!!! No staff, no other guests. The bar area was all shut up and no option for. breakfast the next morning. Luckily we have been to this area before and we knew of a pub/restaurant that we could go to for food and drinks. The next morning was the same. No staff around or no one to help arrange transfers to the airport. Luckily we had the uber app otherwise woukd have found it difficult to get taxis. The hotel advertises there is a shuttle available to the airport but with no staff around I don't know how you would arrange this. However, saying that, there was a mobile phone number on display on the reception desk so I'm sure you could have rang staff/management but I found the whole experience very odd. The room was small, but comfortable enough for one night. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. …
I stayed at The Winston Manor hotel for 1 night for work. Gentlemen at reception was very helpful. I asked him if they did breakfast ( it wasn’t included in my booking) he replied yes, in the breakfast room around 7:45, i asked about payment his response pay afterwards. It was a buffet cooked breakfast which was delicious and plenty of it. There was a hairdryer in my room which is always a bonus! Beds were very comfy had a great nights sleep. Excellent service and very clean. Will definitely stay there again when I next visit Bristol.
Stayed here for 1 night. Check in was very efficient after receiving instructions to retrieve the room key and accessing the property. Parking onsite is great. Room was basic but comfortable. Checkout also efficient at reception, a key drop off box. I didnt actually see anyone on entering or leaving the hotel but for 1 night it doesn't matter.
