Very characterful hotel centrally located in Cromer, Norfolk. On previous trips to Cromer we had stayed at the Red Lion and were disappointed when we were unable to book. We needn't have worried: We arrived at the Wellington in the early evening and were shown our room promptly (the Reception is the bar in the Pub on the ground floor,...

Got a fantastic deal £80 for 2 nights for 2 people, b&b. Ok it was mid Jan. As it turned out we had a beautiful day of sunshine for a cliff top walk. Room was clean although somewhat strangely decorated. Breakfast was good, help yourself cereal, etc with a full English. Great to be staying in a proper pub. All...

We spent a very pleasant 3 nights at the "Welly" with our 2 dogs in a family room which suited our situation with the dogs. Considering the accommodation is a pub, the room was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. The biggest drawback is that there is no car parking and you have to trawl the nearby streets...

We visited the restaurant last year whilst on holiday in Cromer and decided to return. It was a horrible wet day and we received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious. My two year old son had sausages, my husband had cod and chips and myself and my parents had a crab salad. The crab was so fresh. It...

Great pub with very good evening meals. Very friendly staff. Breakfast great and rooms good, bath would have been a bonus. Fab location 50ft from front. Tip: dog friendly. Poll table. Decent selection of beers.

I called in to the Courtyard Restaurant for lunch with a friend on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Although we hadn't booked, we were quickly shown to a table by the helpful and friendly staff. The meals were excellent, good value and efficiently delivered. As an added bonus, the hotel is literally only seconds from the seafront and the pier....

On the plus side: Close to the beach, and in the heart of the old town,The Wellington is in a good location. Our room (No. 2) was OK, comfortable and not unclean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good quality using local produce. On the slightly down side: The loo and shower is plumbed into a saniflow...

We were in Cromer for a music festival and stayed here. The staff are wonderful and welcoming....and happy ! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was at a reasonable hour for folk who have been up late (9 am -10 am ) and a sociable occasion if that's what you want in the morning . We did.The food both...
