This was our second visit- just one night this time, unfortunately! Julie remembered us (and our dogs) from last time, and we had the same room (ground floor, with doors out to a little outside area- great for dogs!) Lovely room, great breakfast, and as always a great nights sleep. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Faultless! I've stayed in posh hotels who haven't paid the attention to detail that the proprietor of The Knoll Guest House does. Friendly, welcoming, spotless and a wonderful English breakfast every morning. Highly recommended and would certainly stay there again - if I could get in! It seems to be - deservedly - very popular.

Had room five at the top of the house . The room was small but adequate for me .the room had en suite. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe/ Fraser space. Would certainly recommend this place. Even had the Easter bunny leave eggs in my room! Lovely! Breakfast was excellent too

I stopped at the Knoll guest house for 1 night at the end of March with my partner and my dog, from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and our room was pretty much perfect, very clean and comfortable and we had a small courtyard off the patio doors which was ideal for our dog. The Knoll...

The guest house is bright & airy & looks the smartest in the street. Julie made us feel very welcome. Our room was located on the first floor, it was of good size with a small en-suite & had a seaside feel. The bed was very comfy with good size pillows. The en-suite was small with a sink in the...

My partner and I had just returned from a 3 night stay at the Knoll with our two small dogs. We had the ground floor room, which was perfect for us as it had doors leading to a small private outdoor area, meaning the dogs could get out if they needed to. The room itself was lovely. Lovely nautical themed...

5 cyclists plus our push bikes stayed for 1 night. Very friendly and hospitable and a very nice breakfast. Good location in the town close to restaurants and it's a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. Recommended.

Only there for three days as it was the first time that my wife and I had been away with our dog and we weren't sure how it would go. We needn't have worried though, Julie made us all very welcome. We had a lovely room with a bathroom that was both clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were superb and...
