Lovely old hotel, clean and with some beautiful original old features. Staff friendly and helpful and food delicious. Wonderful position over looking the seafront and pier. We paid a little extra for a sea view room and it was worth it to wake up to the view and to hear the waves on the shore!

Stayed overnight in June whilst travelling. Had terrible trouble getting to the hotel car park due to one way streets, knew where we had to get to but just couldnt get there. Upon arrival there was approximately 8/10 parking spaces for a hotel of that size ! Checked in, hotel receptionist was friendly & helpful. Hotel was lovely to look... More

Firstly the staff were lovely in this grandly named hotel once they came back from 'a smoking break' to attend to the front desk (both the lady and gent were particularly helpful thank you), and the room was very clean, but that is the end of the positives. Put a pin in the map and ended up in Cromer for... More

We booked for one night only and found the views to be the best thing about this hotel. Our room overlooked the sea and pier which was fabulous. The bar was comfortable and we enjoyed our drinks I didn't have a good night sleep because the beds were uncomfortable and room felt cold and damp underfoot. Breakfast was also a... More

Stayed just the one night so that we could go to the End of the Pier show which finishes very late. This hotel has stunning views and is overlooking the pier itself, so we were able to walk back quite easily.Parking can be a problem as we were told that there was parking at the front of the hotel. We... More

Been to the bar a couple of times this month for a quick lunch. Pub grub - reasonably priced and very pleasant surroundings recommend if you just want something light but filling - strange having to pay in advance before meals served - found this offensive - staff pleasant and helpful

Whilst in Cromer my wife and I noticed a sign outside the hotel de Paris about their cocktails, so on a spur of the moment popped in. Even though the list of cocktails was fairly limited, they tasted fantastic and for less than £10 for two were excellent value. The hotel may have seen better times but Jenny behind the... More

I love Cromer and have wanted to stay at this grand looking hotel for years. The location is incredible and the building is stunning and full of character but that's where the positives end. The lack of parking is a problem (only 10 places for the whole hotel), the evening/night receptionist was unbelievably rude and unhelpful, the interior was dated... More

Arrived at Cafe de Paris with friends. Was allocated a single room with supplement. Room disappointing. Woke up several times feeling I was in a prison cell. with sloping ceiling coming down directly over bed and barely room to move. Left room 5 am and waited in lounge for day staff to arrive. Asked to see the manager and he... More
