If you're looking at the bad reviews of this place please disregard them! This is a real gem. The friendliest and most welcoming staff met us on arrival and a lovely guy cycled ahead of us to show us our pitch. We had the perfect position at the side of a large tree giving a duo of shade and sunshine.... More

Apart from the Fawlty Towers-style interrogation at check in, this was a lovely site. It's peaceful and sheltered with plentiful clean facilities and a lovely new playground. The access road is unfairly maligned - it's neither narrow nor particularly rough. There are some very pleasant walks with coastal views accessible directly from the site. Cromer is less than 10 minutes'... More

We were a family party of seven arriving on different dates over the end of May bank holiday and mix of members and non members. The managers/staff were fantastic helping to sort out our booking and adding an extra night stay and had an all round helpful and cheerful approach. They worked hard over a very busy weekend. We had... More

Lovely site, our third visit and been a joy each time. Ideal for young children and lovely walks from the site with dogs. Clean facilities, particularly liked family room for showers. The showers in the ladies don't drain away very well so you are standing in water whilst drying. Nicely spaced pitches. Road leading to site is dreadful though, very... More

Visited every year for the last 5 years or so. Maybe think about getting wifi on this site as we do now live in a digital age; although there was 4G which was surprising for such a rural area. Amenities are a short walk away.

Stayed for 4 days at the west runton site in a family tent. Cold and rainy week but couldn't fault the site. Site itself is spacious with allocated tent pitches. To shower/toilet blocks which are always clean and warm. Plenty of save area for the little ones to roam free. Kids made lots of friends and enjoyed their trips to... More

Have been here many times and love it. Can walk to Cromer and do shopping. Longer walk to Sheringham along the ever changing coastline. The beaches are mainly dog friendly. If it is rainy there's still plenty to do. Norwich is not far so if the days a right off you have city life on your door step. Mobile signal... More

Amazing, immaculate campsite very child and dog friendly...plenty of places to take the dog for a walk off the lead. Lovely park and the the shower block was the best I've seen yet (me and partner have been to a few) we took 4 children aged 9,8,6 and 18months and it felt like a very relaxed safe environment. The staff... More

We have just had an amazing 5 night stay on this lovely site. Shower block is spotless and forever hot water. My only critisism is the same for most sites, whilst dogs are welcome there is seldom an area they can be let off the lead. Whilst there may be a farmers field to use, the cows were NOT happy... Spent 2 nights in the brand new Readycamp tent and had a great time. The tent comes with everything you need. Lovely little touches (table already laid out, torches, heater). Site staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. On site toilet/shower facilities were immaculate. Peaceful surroundings and easy access to Cromer and Sheringham. Will be back.
