This was probably the best holiday we have been on facility wise. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very welcoming. The extras like tattoo studio, shop, barbershop, spa and jewellers we great too. We used them all. If I had to pick fault with anything the hotel could change it would be the beer it’s called Troy and is not the best but it’s one thing. Obviously he rude Que jumping Russians are there but just tell them to get to the back and they will. very nice time had by all of your going here you won’t be disappointed. The food can become repetitive but if you just have one meal instead of 4 like I saw then there will be enough choice for your stay. If not eat out its cheap enough.

Pros - amazing weather Cons - see below On arrival where given room 1309 block A this was far from our expectations pictures attached room attendant immediately said this wasn’t our designated room and would have to speak to manager at 10 00 the day after - At 1am in the morning we didn’t have much choice than try and get a nights sleep the room had 2 singles *booked double standard*and in poor repair with the AC blowing directly onto our heads weather too hot to switch off - and room super small - we where then shown another room the next day that wasn’t cleaned and not much better not great first impressions .- reception seemed happy to explain upgrade at a costs of course approx £60 extra - which was better in block D Room number 4317 although a little worn and somewhat noisy during the day and into the evening - food was okay 5 out of 10 plenty of fresh fruit we ate out 1 night and food wasn’t that great restaurant “Florida” pictures on the menu don’t seem to depict what you actually get seems a common theme . loads of Russians didn’t really bother me however can come across as abrupt specially at meal times however had same experience with other cultures - All inclusive water bottles check seal as 1 out of 3 bottles had been refilled specially in restaurant - we had to wait until the morning of checkout to request a late checkout causing confusion with taxi pick up times and potentially 8 hr wait in lobby eventually managed to get a 4.30 checkout for 120 lire - had to request several times for 2 room cards for myself and partner given the excuse that only one works at a time . Off the record the receptionist told me this was to stop people using up electricity when not in the room so no option to charge up phones tablets etc - however they’ve both been working fine so far - super slow intermittent WIFI - I would consider a SIM card next time if this is the standard across turkey . The beach is 5 minute walk with pre set spaces for your specific hotel no WIFI and a random chap who walks up and down every 20 minutes or so to ask if you want a drink not free or included in package . Costs - we booked the day before via on the beach at cost of approx £1500 for 2 all inclusive 7 nights - minus 1 night in worlds smallest room - every other shop seems to only sell copies of trainers / watches / bags / sportswear / will not be going back

Just spent 2 weeks at the Mirage World and although it's a lovely hotel, we couldn't wait to leave the place. This hotel caters mainly for the Russian holidaymakers since the ban was lifted for them to visit Turkey again and the staff seemed to favour them.  Although clean, the rooms were tiny. When we arrived at 12 midnight we were given a room with 2 single beds (for 3 of us). We were assured that an extra bed would made up so went out to a bar next door for a drink, returning at 2.30am and the room still hadn't been made up. Once the 3rd bed was in there was no room to swing a cat. When we asked if there was a bigger room available we were told No. The food wasn't great. Im not a fussy eater but to be brutally honest, the food was awful, especially the evening meal. It was sometimes a struggle to find a table that had been cleared and set for the next guests. When you asked for cutlery or glasses it was quicker to hunt around and find them yourself rather than wait 20 mins for a waiter to bring them to your table. However, we would see waiters returning to tables with Russian guests, topping up their wine and water asking if everything was okay. We found it better to go to the restaurant later to avoid the impending rugby scrum of being pushed and shoved out the way as the Russians don't seem to understand the concept of queueing. The staff didn't really make much of an effort to speak to us. The only people who did were the 2 lads in the supermarket and Rima the jewellery lady. The drinks weren't bad, but again you would find some people pushing in front or shouting up when it's your turn to be served.  We love Icmeler and while the hotel is in a great spot we would never go back there, and feel that we have spent an awful lot of money for what we actually got. Last year we stayed at Julian Forest which is really far out but we thought it had a much friendlier atmosphere, better food and bigger rooms.  Would recommend Captain Bulls**t for your boat trips. (Trip Advisor sees that word as a profanity so not allowed to put it)

My fiancé and I visited here last year for two weeks. The first room we were in was not great as it was at the very back of one of the blocks with no view and just the bins below, however the staff were very helpful in moving us to a nicer room. There was a great selection of food and always something for everyone. There was one staff member in the restaurant who remembered us each night and always remembered what we wanted to drink which was nice. We really liked the bar staff and they all seemed very friendly. Within the hotel there is a jewellery shop, a tattoo shop and a hairdresser. The hairdresser is fantastic, definitely worth a visit! The hotel is very close to the beach and the main shops and restaurants. We would definitely return!

Together with my husband, we recommend Ferhad and his wife Rima with all my heart. They have a lovely little shop in the middle of the Mirage World Hotel in Icmeler. My husband bought a chain that he lost almost a year ago and nowhere else could he get the same as the one that was a gift from his father. Ferhad stood on the head that the chain looks identical to the one that was very important. We waited 4 days and we are very pleased with the performance, service and price. For such a chain in another country, we would even pay a few more stakes. We recommend very very very much
