We need a quiet getaway and this is what exactly we got. The facilities are nice. They have indoor and outdoor pools (we prefer the outdoor pools, quieter and have beautiful views surrounding). Great for families, kids also couples like us. The hotel room was okay and big enough. And the glamping villas were AMAZING! We love it so much our time there. Our villa has a private wood tub and that's so cool! They also offer delivery breakfast to the villa if you're too lazy to have breakfast at the hotel. There's a natural pool in the Glamping area. If you come here in summer or early autumn, you must enjoy this pool! The friendliness of the people in the service is Super! A special compliment to Shiyas Hussain, a man who did Ayurveda Massage for me. You must try it if you stay in this hotel. And I also recommend you take 'Prlekija welcomes you' - because you also can enjoy the beauty of nature around the hotel, the massages, and a romantic Bath with your loved one! Overall I highly recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay.…
I came as daily guest. A receptionist at spa offered me ticket with lunch. I saw daily offer of hotel restaurant, she say my face and she told me I can use coupon in another restaurant for barbecue, what I accepted. Wrong. Poor offer, and for coupons is possible to get just few dishes. No quality, only meat, no vegeterian or vegan options, and the waitress was very arrogant. Nice spa, but it's better not to eat there.
The place was nice and the food was good but the cleanliness was very poor. The plates and cutlery were dirty and when we inform the waitress she clearly did’t care. Also the village house was not so clean. The staff at the restaurant is not very frendly and if you need somebody of the staff u can’t find them so easy becouse many times is nobody in the restaurant.
We have visited this SPA resort for the 3rd time. Im sorry to say that quality of service is deteriorating. This visit resulted on windy 1st level relax area with open upper doors whole day (outside was 7 degrees celsius), pool restaurant area was on the other hand like sitting in the kitchen with no air whatsoever - kitchen ventilation is not working and everything was smelling with fish odour (very disturbing) for all sitting guests. Roof is leaking on laying guests and all that was done, was a sign with wet floor. After finishing with baths you have available two (2) hair drayers for a couple hundred guests ??? Other two are broken with a sign out of order. At the end personal knows all mentioned problems but doesnt seem to care.
Booked HB wellness package for 4 days Easter package. The location is excellent for a pure relax between the nature, hotel modern, clean with a lot of content. The wellness area is also very rich from pools and type of saunas. Very recommended for the relax. Found a few minor defects as a hole in the bed linen, another on the table cloth and one day waited a long for new towels; but this defects were ignorable comparing with the other positive services and experience. For my opinion, the relax room should be improved with some curtains, currently there is too much light, but this is only my opinion. In the end for summarise, the hotel and the service met our expectation and this is the most important for us. I would recommend it for the wellness lovers. Vote 8.5/10
We stayed there for 3 days. The room was very spacious and modern (suita). The staff was really nice, they were all very helpful. Breakfast was good, there was a lot of different things (fruit, cereal, eggs, bread, jam, chesse,..) and everything was tasteful. Dinner was ok, some dishes weren't so good but there was enough choice for everyone. The pool is great, water is really warm and also the air temperature is high so you're not cold when you come out of the water.
Small and cosy hotel. Lounge bar is very nice. Friendly stuff. Food is average self service, though quite various sorts of food. Very nice woden houses and tents behind the hotel. All over mostly without plastic considering Eco type of hotel. can be noisy sometimes.
Very well maintained place, different pools with warm water connected into very interesting shape, nice caffe on sight, plenty of parking places and affordable prices...everything would be perfect if only it doesn’t get overcrowded during weekend or if just parents take a bit more attention to their kids...as spa should be a place to relax
Bioterme is a hotel in the middle of nowhere. But it is not a perfect place for peaceful holiday. Local guests come with children and it is pretty crowdly. During winter, pool for hotel guest only doesn't work and sauna section is nothing special, so you have no choice but to spend time at crowdly full swiming pools in main area. Pool restaurant always offer rests of last day dinner or fried things, that are not smell well. Hotel bar doesn't offer much either, I asked kindly for a little bit hotter cocoa and get the answer "it will be hot as it will be" .... Meals in hotel restarant are average, good for 2-3* hotel with very limited assortament. No connection with nearest town or village except by your own car and if you don't want to be a whole day at the pool or in sauna, you will not have anything to do there. There are types of guests who maybe will enjoy such holidays. During summer pool area is much larger but it is definitly a place for less demaded guests.…
Bioterme have big enough and well furnished rooms. Only the bed and the pillow are really due to be replaced because both are terrible. Food taste OK but lack variety for claimed 4 stars. Stuff are nice but really more amateurs than professionals and to few. Management made up some really bizzare rules. Saunas are OK but they do feel more like a local sport club saunas not as they should in 4 star establishment. There isn't much to do in the vicinity so staying more than 2-3 day might get you bored.
