This is a lovely family run hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. It's in a perfect location in the port area of Javea with a great selection of restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. If you want to visit the Arenal area of the town there's one of those novelty trains (it's a... More

We spent 4 nights in a soulless self-catering apartment but we made the Miramar our everyday meeting point for breakfast, coffee-break, pre-prandial aperitif, etc. Delightful good-natured staff. Now we know our way around a bit more, we'll make sure we make the Miramar the hotel of our choice next time.

Super restaurant overlooking the sea. Take breakfast and watch the Javea fishing fleet return to port around 8-30am. Visit the port fresh fist shop and watch the catch soled and dispatched around the region. Walk after breakfast along the sea front to the beaches at the Arenel for a coffee returning for tapas at lunchtime in one of the ports... More

This was one of the nicest hotel stays we have enjoyed! A small (22 room) third generation family run hotel that offers the simple things really well. Reception is friendly and helpful: the room had a balcony and full sea view: the beds were really comfortable and the shower excellent: the maids cleaned efficiently and changed towels every day: right... Hotel Mirimar doesn't profess to be anything more than a simple three star hotel but my stay there after weeks working around Spain, staying in nothing less than four star, was the best for many reasons. The first was the really warm welcome and the offer by the manager to carry my really heavy luggage to my room on the... More

We are just back from a weeks stay in this excellent hotel. Reception staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even let us keep our room on last day until 5:30, as we had a late flight home. Rooms are spotlessly clean and bathroom facilities were excellent. Hotel is right on the promenade and we had a... Location: Excellent Room: Small, clean, nice Staff: Helpful, friendly Restaurant: Excellent Miramar is located right on the water front and next to a large selection of nice restaurants including its own. Even a busy tourist area, the city behind remains classic and unspoiled. I will choose Miramar again for my next visit.

No, this is nowhere near a luxury hotel, but what it lacks in facilities and fanciness, it more than makes up for in the setting and cleanliness. We were greeted by a friendly, chatty lady on reception, who was very welcoming. We had a room overlooking the sea, across the promenade, the view from the bathroom and 2 windows in... More

L'attico restaurant on the fifth floor has stunning views of the port and harbour. The hotel and restaurant are next to the spectacular cathedral , which is well worth a visit. The food is very good, I particularly recommend the lamb, and the fish is as fresh as can be as the fish market is only a few steps away.... More

This hotel is right on the paseo overlooking the beach in the port area of Javea. It is basic but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was smart and clean with a good shower. The only drawback is that there are no lifts, so if you are not good with stairs... More
