Hotel Hostal Loreto is a comfortable, family run hotel with 45 bedrooms and a lively café/restaurant. The building is a former nunnery dating from the sixteenth century. It is located in a pedestrian area in the medieval centre of the town close to many shops and restaurants and overlooked by a Moorish castle. All of the recently refurbished rooms have air-conditioning, televisions, safes, fridges and private bathrooms. The beach is only a short walk away.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Hostal Loreto. The staff at reception, restaurant and bar staff and cleaning service were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. Delicious breakfast. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay.

Very expensive (100€) to later find a room where the details of the cleaning are not taken care of. Fan with dust accumulation and holed sheets. It's a building without an elevator.
Breakfast was great, there was both sweet and salty.
The best thing about the hotel is its location, in the heart of Denia.

Stayed there for 6 nights, my son lives close to Denia. I booked a single room. Room was quite spacious for a single room (Room No. 217) and clean. Sufficient space for clothing and a small desk in case you need to work. Clean sheets and very quiet as it is located in the pedestrian area so no cars. A lot of restaurants in the vicinity and other services like a pharmacy. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can certainly recommend this hostal and the price for the given quality is very good. When I will be visiting my son again I will certainly come back.

Hostal Loreto is a beautiful historic structure, well located and with a stunning internal courtyard.
Beyond this, Hostal Loreto has nothing good and I can say that it is the worst place I have been.
I stayed from June 1st to June 5th, leaving a day earlier than expected because I couldn't resist one more day.
The first day I arrived in the late afternoon and, tired, I decided to have dinner in the Hostal restaurant.
Hostal customers have a 10% discount on restaurant prices (Il segrete di Loreto) which however is more expensive than other restaurants in the area. Better to go elsewhere.
On the second day, Sunday, I was woken up at 8.20 in the morning by a worker happily hammering away at some renovation work.
Every day, around 8 in the morning, the person in charge of preparing breakfast happily entertained himself in the internal courtyard of the Hostal, talking loudly with the cleaning staff.
A rather unfriendly person who seems to look at you in a bad way and makes it almost a nuisance to be there for breakfast.
And, again as regards the "continental breakfast", this is based on very low quality products that anyone can buy at the supermarket.
We are therefore talking about packaged products, not fresh ones such as bread that is defrosted.
The espresso is dark water and the croissants are cardboard.
Obviously if you find the restaurant open because one day I was invited to have breakfast at the bar opposite because the restaurant was closed.
I happen to travel often, for work or pleasure (as in this case) and I must say that I have never seen the lack of attention to customers found in Hostal Loreto.
This is why I strongly advise against staying at Hostal Loreto if you want to be treated like paying customers looking for relaxation and good service.

Hostal Loreto has a central location ideal for exploring. Unfortunately, my stay was not quite convincing. The room was very musty, which significantly impaired comfort. In addition, there is no lift, which is especially uncomfortable on higher floors. The beds were uncomfortable, which made the night's sleep difficult. No WiFi reception in our room.
The friendly staff can score points, but overall there are better alternatives in the area. I would not book the Hostal Loreto again.

My partner & I recently enjoyed a Holiday at Loreto Hotel, room 104 in Denia.
The room was very comfortable with an excellent modern bathroom.
The cleanliness everywhere was superb and the food absolutely First Class and very tasty with plenty of choice. The restaurant and bar staff are exceptionally welcoming. I also want to commend the reception staff for their friendliness and helpful attitude, especially Pieter who helped us catch our plane in time after a mix up with our return to the Airport. All in all a lovely Hotel in a great part of the old town.

Absolutely fabulous Hotel. We were delighted with our room when we had the opportunity to stay this year. We have since moved to Denia and call in to Hostel Loretta for a glass of wine and tapas. We have also had a marvelous meal there on several ocassions. The resturant is beautiful a contemporary feel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. IMPORTANT to mention that they also cater for plant-based vegan diners. The staff are incredibly professional and very friendly. Linda and Andrea look after us royally. We hope you enjoy Hostel Loretta as much as we do.

I only ever stay at hostel loreto when I stay in Denia. Family run hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are clean, comfortable and good value. Attached restaurant (secreto de loreto) provides an excellent buffet style breakfast. Only down side is no lift.

An absolutely wonderful stay in a totally delightful place. The location was simply perfect and the Hostel was clean & spotless. Super rooms, lacking nothing. Polite, patient, friendly staff completed what was a really enjoyable stay.
We thought we knew Denia! We weren't even close to knowing it! This location & the beautiful streets surrounding, turned it into one of our all-time favourite stays, anywhere. Thank you Peter & Staff. Just go folks, treat yourself! 👏🏽⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏼

We can send you the telephone number of a private taxi. The cost is dependent on which airport you are using and the availability of the taxis. You can book either way or a return. The costs vary between 80 and 100 euros per journey.
Tripadvisor does not allow me to post a link to our directions here. If you send me an email I will send you the link.
You need to come to the hotel first to pick up a key to the parking. The parking costs 10€ per day and we ask a deposit of 20€ for the key.
I'm not sure what room you are in as I don't know under which name you booked. We cannot guarantee any particular room at this time of year as we are fully booked and many clients book a long time in advance.
Look for the Mas y Mas supermarket at the bottom of the road, I found parking on the street near there and it wasn't far to walk to the hotel from there.
The hotel has 3 floors. The superior rooms are on the first and second floors.
At this time of year the easiest option is to use the hotel's private parking. It costs10€ per day and you have to pay a 20€ deposit for the key which is refunded when the key is returned. You have to go to the hotel first to get the key. The hotel is in a pedestrian only street and the closest you can get (to pick up the key) is Calle San Jose.
