Great location in the very attractive town of Biar. All the staff we met were fantastic, helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The evening menu was quite adventurous and very varied. Lovely furnishings in reception and a very welcoming feel.

I went here to participate in a training course and stayed 6 nights. The hotel was like a Tardis - from the outside, from the front it is just a normal property on the roadside, but when you go in it is so light and bright (but thankfully cooler). From the street you walk into the reception area - only...

We took a road trip around France and Spain, Biar and this hotel definitely our favourite. Our other stops were lovely and great in so many ways but this was unobtrusive, beautiful and everything we wanted. Biar is stunning, we had friends who live locally which was a plus but the town itself is just stunning, a real hide treasure....

Location: Admittedly, we struggled a little bit to find the hotel (we travelled by car). Nonetheless, it didn't take us too long to get there from Alicante. The hotel is conveniently located near the cathedral, restaurant and castle i.e. the main attractions. In any case, Biar is a small town and it is easy to get around by foot. Note...

I have had the good fortune to stay in this hotel a number of times both on my own and with walking groups. It is a very good hotel located well off the tourist track. The staff could not be more helpful and many speak good English. Food is typically Spanish and of a high standard. Rooms are modern and...

Stayed in this hotel for a week with a walking group in April 2015. Biar is a small town, and The Villa de Biar Hotel is the largest hotel in town. It is about ten minutes walk from the shopping area, and is in a very quiet area. The hotel was not full as it was out of season. We...

I stayed for three nights during the Moors & Christians festival in May 2015. I was with a group, so not totally solo. The hotel was perfect for us given its dining facilities, pool and public areas. Rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and the service level was very high. We didn't dine at the hotel other than...

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a really lovely time, hotel staff were excellent and always very helpful, the food was very good with a great choice and very traditional dishes but all served with very professional staff. If you are going to this area it is a must stay place.

Just back from a week's walking holiday run by HF Holidays, 16 people in total. The hotel was very good, comfy beds, sitting areas inside and out, bar and restaurant. The staff were very good, especially the kitchen staff who catered for 2 coeliac diets with no problem. The restaurant served good Spanish food, well cooked and presented, buffet breakfast...

We picked the hotel and village based on Trippy advice and we were not disappointed. We did not know the area but what a gem Biar is – a charming old town with a castle and network of beautiful narrow streets and alleys. We were probably the only non Spanish tourists in the village which was great. But the lack...
