Our party of three stayed here as part of our Camino walk. Arrived at 1.45 and was told no lunch available and the nearest place to eat was about 2kms away. Eventually some leftover salad was grudgingly produced. The living space was occupied by the four members of the family and we were not invited to sit there and felt... More

We stayed one night as part of our Camino walk. The building has been very well restored and our room was large, nicely decorated and comfortable. After a long day walking I was looking forward to a shower, but there was no hot water to our shower. Fortunately our daughter was staying in another room, so I was able to... More

Good accommodation in the middle of nowhere. You need to buy supplies to bring with you. Porto has a bar with some supplies avaiable. The Rectoral is a restored priest’s home. The Pilgrim meal was adequate but not sensational. Wine available was fine and WIFI available. You all sit down together. The hotel itself seems very quiet. Perhaps the price is... More

This was the best place I stayed in during my Camino walk. Fabulous restoration. You get a sense of the buildings past when chatting to the owners who are very friendly. Bedroom was great with big wet room and bags of hot water. Loved the inside of the place especially the lounge with log fire and the large table where... More

The owners did an amazing restoration of this building. Since there were no other restaurants in the town we ate here for dinner after hiking the Camino with our group of 11 people. Very good soup as a starter and the chicken was delicious. Breakfast was small but when in Europe eat as a local. Our room was ridiculously small... More

We stayed here during a Camino journey . Definitely a paradise compared to the albergue's hostel etc that we were used to. The host was not very welcoming and spoke no English. The room was large and beautiful, the bath had a whirlpool. The food was good but no menu, you got what was being served.

This was certainly the most memorable stay I had on our 6 days on the Camino. The welcoming manager and the inviting accommodation were spot on, feeling more like a home than a hotel. The rooms were rustic and well appointed. Our room did not have a door for the en suite which we would have preferred. The sitting rooms,... More

The owners have taken a centuries'-old convent and over a decade have restored it to a beautiful, serene place that was a welcome respite for my wife and during our 5-week walk on the Camino de Santiago. Our hosts were delightful and helpful; an excellent pilgrims' Dinner and breakfast are also available; and the modern amenities and the tranquil, countryside... More

This is a hidden gem along the camino. Its in a very small village. Log fire, amazing food and even spa baths in every room for those weary muscles. The rooms were beautiful. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Will come again
