I was on the Camino de Santiago with my girlfriend and we found this place. The location is beautiful, with a green park and a wonderful place to stay. And, more important than all, Beatriz and Alvaro were two great homeowners, really kind and professional. It's surely a "must" if you walk on the Camino or if you travel near... More

What a nice place!!! The owner was not there but the Man that managed the place was a wonderful and friendly person!! The played the most beautiful music and his food was wonderful. I can really suggest this place on the Camino for a stay over.

Interesting rebuilding of an older house. It's on the camino itself, in a village, but with lots of space to walk or run around in. Gruff service, but with character. Compulsory communal dinner at 7.30 (in Spain!), good plain fare. Our room was comfortable but with eccentric washing arrangements (too complicated to describe). Quite good fun if you're in the... This property is on the itinerary for Headwater and Exodus and the is the country retreat for the owners who are definitely not trained or proficient in hospitality. There are no restaurant facilities on-site and what is provided is at the host's discretion. Average food and below average service. The family room had the family in residence and my fellow... Our party of three stayed here as part of our Camino walk. Arrived at 1.45 and was told no lunch available and the nearest place to eat was about 2kms away. Eventually some leftover salad was grudgingly produced. The living space was occupied by the four members of the family and we were not invited to sit there and felt... More

We stayed one night as part of our Camino walk. The building has been very well restored and our room was large, nicely decorated and comfortable. After a long day walking I was looking forward to a shower, but there was no hot water to our shower. Fortunately our daughter was staying in another room, so I was able to... More

Good accommodation in the middle of nowhere. You need to buy supplies to bring with you. Porto has a bar with some supplies avaiable. The Rectoral is a restored priest’s home. The Pilgrim meal was adequate but not sensational. Wine available was fine and WIFI available. You all sit down together. The hotel itself seems very quiet. Perhaps the price is... More

This was the best place I stayed in during my Camino walk. Fabulous restoration. You get a sense of the buildings past when chatting to the owners who are very friendly. Bedroom was great with big wet room and bags of hot water. Loved the inside of the place especially the lounge with log fire and the large table where... More

The owners did an amazing restoration of this building. Since there were no other restaurants in the town we ate here for dinner after hiking the Camino with our group of 11 people. Very good soup as a starter and the chicken was delicious. Breakfast was small but when in Europe eat as a local. Our room was ridiculously small... More

We stayed here during a Camino journey . Definitely a paradise compared to the albergue's hostel etc that we were used to. The host was not very welcoming and spoke no English. The room was large and beautiful, the bath had a whirlpool. The food was good but no menu, you got what was being served.
